SPECIAL NOTE: When I was there last week for a grooming, I noticed that it was very warm and stuffy in the building. The owner might want to check out the A/C unit as I don't think it's up to the task. My watch told me it was 81°F in the boarding area. That is not good for the dogs or the employees. Hot, humid air breeds and spreads illness. If everyone gets sick, it is not good for business. I'm rating you only 4 stars because of the faulty air conditioning, not the actual service.

But do not choose Dr. Whitlow, you will get no emergency care, and if he treats your pet, you will probably get your heart broken, if your pet lives. His staff may improve, but as long as he is still there-don't dare risk your fur baby.

First visit for my girl who was suffering from allergies and a severe ear infection. Upon…read moreentering, 3 ladies were at the front desk, 1 was friendly and the others were distant. Anyhow, I was checked in right away (2pm). First, I explained to the vet technician, that this was my dog first visit, and that her anxiety level and pain is high right now. The VT thought it was ok to stick a q-tip in her ear with a muzzle on. This upset my dog so much that she almost came out of the muzzle. Now, treatment couldn't be done without sedation. After this dilemma, Dr. Samiria Hayes came in to access the situation. She wasn't able to give treatment either, even after I calmed my dog down. Tension was too high. So an alternative treatment was suggested for me to do. Even though I wasn't satisfied with the recommendation, I was ok with the detail directions on how to proceed for care. Dr. Hayes was very patient and thorough throughout our visit, but appeared to be very nervous around my dog. After checking out, I was not happy with the cost of the bill. Especially, since I have to do all the work. Hopefully, my girl feels better soon!
