Horrible staff, horrible veterinarian-Dr. Whitlow. If you love your pet-take them ANYWHERE else-not to 4 Paws. They are not accountable for anything at all. Rude, dismissive, disrespectful, dangerous!! I can't say enough bad things. If you left there with a healthy, living pet-then you are extremely lucky and so is your pet. I wouldn't trust this place to take "care" with any living thing. Please. Please beware. I'm shocked at the good reviews. I actually believe they must be fake, because this veterinarian and his staff are monsters. Lagrange in general needs an emergency veterinarian desperately. But do not choose Dr. Whitlow, you will get no emergency care, and if he treats your pet, you will probably get your heart broken, if your pet lives. His staff may improve, but as long as he is still there-don't dare risk your fur baby. read more

4 paws has been my babies vet for the past 4 years. I like the vet, yeah some of the front desk could use some manors.

Beware the kennel. Dropped our dog off for the week and returned to get her back with a bandage on the last four inches of her tail. Vet said that she had "scraped" it wagging it against the kennel wall. Removed the bandage today to discover that her tail is broken, not "scraped! Immediately took her out to be examined and was told that she must have broken it after she left the kennel, inside the bandage he had applied......ridiculous. Said that she must have broken it wagging her tail!! Common sense tells me that someone closed a door or gate on her tail. He denies that, but did offer to "bob" her tail at the break.....you gotta be kidding me! read more

Everything about Dr. Whitlow's office is perfect EXCEPT for his Office Manager, Robyn Wilson. My mother & I had just recently moved to the area & switched our animals to Four Paws Animal Hospital. Everything was going great and I was ignoring the rude office manager, Robyn. After spending almost $3,000.00 in full- no balance; the first time our card doesn't work they hold my mother's dog HOSTAGE! Not only did they keep her sick dog, Robyn was EXTREMELY rude to my mother like she was some sort of thief, & refuse to let her speak with Dr. Whitlow. They held him over the weekend because she was there before closing & didn't have time to make it to the ATM. When I picked up Midnight for my mother the following Monday they added almost another $100 for weekend board, & neither Robyn or Dr. Whitlow would speak with me regarding the health of my mother's dog! I have never been treated so rudely & my family will not go back there! read more
