Kline Veterinary Clinic

Kline Veterinary Clinic

This is a long story that I will try and keep short. The hurt is still deep. I took my cat Emme to…read moreDR. KLINE here in Eufaula to have her spayed. She seemed to be recovering okay (even though she had a nasty scar on her from the surgery). Then she started showing the signs on being in heat. ( I have videos) I couldn't understand what could be going on. I called Dr Kline and they said to bring her in. Dr Kline told me at that appointment that she was fine and not in heat. He said it was not a difficult procedure, actually easy, you remove the ovaries and the uterus. That he did that and she was not in heat. I then had to make many phone calls and research to find out about ovarian remnant. When you leave a piece behind. I believed this must be what was wrong with my sweet baby girl. You could tell she was miserable. Crying all the time and started spraying in the house. I found a surgeon that said I had to have her go through two more heats to see if it would correct itself or she would need another surgery. We brought her in when she was in heat because this would be the best time to try and find the problem. He removed her left ovary and a piece of her uterus. I was sick to my stomach. I got her home and went up to tell Dr Kline what happened. He would not see me and has never seen me or spoke to me about what he put her through. I spoke instead with his wife. When I told her the story and put the plastic jar with her ovary in it on the counter, she said well if that came from your cat. I was shocked. Then asked what I wanted. Honestly I had gone in there thinking he (Dr Kline) would care about what he had put my cat through. That he would say he was sorry. That he would be compassionate. Maybe even reimbursement for one the surgerys. Well boy was I wrong. I'm very happy that Emme has recovered which is the most important thing. But I just can't seem to move on from the pain he caused her and his lack of compassion.

Have been great and caring with our many rescues. Prices are fair and they book our pets as soon as…read morepossible.
