Located smack in the centre in Clifton Village, on the main drag that is Princess Victoria Street, this is actually a pretty fine pub. It's a long and thin building, so when you first enter you may think that there isn't much to it. However, beyond the first tiny room with the main bar, there is a small corridor that leads to a larger back room and then onto a garden terrace type place that's pretty good for a chillout in the summer and a smoke at any point in the year. The main reason I go to this pub, though, is because a couple of my mates meet here to watch Sky Sports footy games on the large screen out back, where's there's a great atmosphere and plenty of banter between various fans. Definitely a place worth going to if you live nearby. read more
