My friends and I chatted with the owners, who have loved Amsterdam for years and dreamed of moving here to open a restaurant. More importantly, the nachos are AWESOME. We tried the chili nachos and the pork, and both were delicious. They told us they make the chips in house, and it shows. So much better than the typical Amsterdam nachos. We also loved the queso dip, which is hard to find here. The cocktails were excellent too. I especially loved the coconut daiquiri, but the margarita was great as well. The prices were very reasonable. They said the drink list is seasonal and I can't wait to try out the new drinks. So if you're used to Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend to go to Kua and try the traditional style Mexican food, as it is totally worth it. As for the service, the waiters are friendly. No negatives there. Despite my positivity about this establishment, there are some negatives. Firstly, the dishes are quite small. This is a shame because it's not advertised as a small plate/sharing type place. Secondly, the restaurant itself is also small, meaning that there isn't much space available, which leads me to my third negative point, you 100% need a reservation. Since the restaurant is small and good, it's quite popular. This means that it's always full and it'll be hard to get a table without having a reservation.
