I recently had the pleasure to retain Sanjay Paul to handle a Green Card application for my spouse and me. He and his assistant Ashley did and excellent job, and were always quick to respond to questions and concerns regarding our case. I was considering filing the application myself without an attorney, but after speaking to two people who did just that, I decided that was not a smart move. Both those cases had to be refiled due to minor errors, and the delay in getting an interview was over 6 months to both couples. The potential for changes in immigration laws these days is great, and you can't afford to lose any time in getting your application processed. Sanjay's fee is reasonable, and his experience and knowledge of the process made him an excellent choice to handle our case. You won't be disappointed. read more

I'm going to try and make this simple. I suggest no one goes to mr green for a attorney for a personal injury case. Noah green did NOT fight for us. Right when we sent in a letter of demand BOOM he wanted to settle. As soon as we gave push back. He was annoyed and did not want to fight for decent amount from what he ORIGINALLY asked for in the settlement. Now from what I understand is lawyers are suppose to FIGHT for the most as possible. But I was shocked how much he wanted to settle. And for how little So harsh lessoned learned. Please be smart and Yelp or Google PERSONAL INJURY lawyer and choose someone who specializing in these kind of cases and has the fight for their clients. Truly disappointed and a major let down. read more

I wrote a review for this firm last week and this firm had the review removed by Yelp because there wasn't enough information. The only reason I didnt give factual review because after reaching out to the attorney my fees were refunded so I wanted to reduce their reputation damage. But since they had the review removed here you go with detailed review. If I could I would have given 0 stars, but 1 star is because atleast the fees were refunded. This review is for Joseph Lee's services. I had my estate planning done by Mr. Lee. Once my documents were prepared and signed I was happy to have plan in place. Little did I know what the mess it was until I had it reviewed by two other attorneys from Pasadena area. Here are the issues they found in my revocable trust. 1. No designated beneficiaries or power to trustee to designate beneficiaries. This made the revocable trust invalid under Probate Section 15205. 2. Since the revocable trust is invalid, my assets would have gone into probate after death. 3. Mr.Lee had personally explained to me that the revocable trust would be setup in such a way that the distribution would be done to my children/descendants as "per stripes". Both attorneys confirmed there was no such language in the revocable trust. 4. Both attorneys confirmed that after my death the revocable trust can end up being a foreign trust considering the successor trustee are foreign citizens. Both attorneys confirmed there is no language to fix this unless there is a clause in the revocable trust itself to grant power to the trustees to appoint a different trustee who is a U.S. person. The revocable trust he setup did not have this language. NOT just that, when I reached out to him, he said there was some certain paperwork to do to avoid the trust from becoming foreign trust, however this was false based on feedback from both attorneys and from internet research on probate law. Both the attorneys also told me that for my personal situation, there was absolutely no reason a revocable trust should have been designed to pour over into my estate after death and have my assets go through probate. I saw that this work by this law firm was careless, shoddy and unprofessional. It looked clearly as work delegated to paralegal or associates. And I did not pay $2000 to have work done by an incompetent assistant. legalzoom would have done a better job. As a client, I went to an attorney expecting he would thoroughly and ethically advise me the best for my situation and handle the paper work diligently and professionally.  Since I had lost complete trust in their firm that they would diligently fix the mess they made in the revocable trust, I asked for refund and went ahead with another attorney to do the paperwork from scratch. This meant unfunding assets from old trust back to new trust which is a tedious process. Another issue is also that this firm takes the full fees upfront. The other estate planning attorneys I consulted take only initial fee, let us review their work and only if we are happy they collect final remaining amount. That speaks a lot to good work ethic. The only good part out of all this is I got the money back but it wasted almost an year worth of time and energy! read more

GSP was responsive and to the point. I will definitely be utilizing their services again.

Wow. Talking about rudeness. LA bar association referred me here and literally attny Paul Green just hung up on me in less than 10 seconds by cutting me off in total arrogance. What's the point of relating your case, getting referred, referral accepted just to get hung up on? Even if there's been a mistake, there's such a thing called common decency. Since the other reviewers have mentioned that this firm pays Yelp to remove negative reviews, then I suppose this one will be removed as well. Bad manners to say the least, anyways, upwards and onwards. read more

Sanjay Paul and his office are literally a dream law firm! :) I had been attempting (and failing) to handle my divorce proceedings myself for some time and it had dragged out for years (years!). I eventually started looking into professional representation and in the aftermath of several bad experiences with other offices, I found Sanjay on yelp with a slew of positive reviews...and I am so glad I decided to contact him. The ease of correspondence was amazing. I initially called and was surprised to be put through directly to Sanjay. We discussed my case status and exchanged emails to send him my paperwork. He was very reassuring that he would be able to help speed things along. From there on out, we were able to handle everything we needed via email and I never even had to make an appointment to come into the office in person. This was absolutely amazing and a huge relief since I had already spent countless hours standing in the queue at the downtown family court nightmare of an office... He was always very prompt with getting back to me if even just to let me know he hadn't forgotten about my case, which was very thoughtful and helped keep the whole matter very low stress. Our fee agreement was reasonable and I did not end up having to pay additional fees even when we had a few hiccups along the way. I had absolutely no complaints throughout my working relationship with Sanjay and his office. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and friendly. Best of all: results! I really could not have asked for more. I would (and will) recommend Sanjay to anyone in need of an attorney in the future. Thank you!!! read more

One of my close family members had some issues regarding her immigration. In a panic, she asked me if I could help find someone who could help her solve these matters. My aunt and I interviewed a couple attorneys in the area to get a better sense of their personalities, and if he/she was the best attorney for my aunt. Mr. Paul was professional and sincere upon meeting him. He understood what needed to be done, and assured my aunt that he will do anything to help her . And he did just that. . -If you want a patient and hardworking attorney to represent you , contact Mr. Paul. Trust me, with him by your side, all your worries will be at ease. He offers free consultations, so what do you have to lose? Thank you again! =) read more

I discovered Dream Law on YELP and based on the great reviews decided to contact them. My experience with Sanjay Paul has been exceptional. When you have a family law issue, you not only require an attorney who is skilled and knowledgeable, you also want one you trust. As an attorney, he provides that rare combination. Getting a divorce/custody/support is never a pleasant, straight forward or quick experience. Mr. Paul patiently and expertly explained the entire process, protected my interests I didn't know needed protecting, was always available and ensured the entire procedure went smoothly. He was extremely responsive and there were no delays in the process that could be contributed to his skilled work. He's a keen listener and exceptionally sharp when it came to building the details of my case. I have worked directly with Sanjay during intense negotiations and found him to be incredibly compassionate, competent, and level-headed. Sanjay, is a consummate professional and I will continue to retain him as my legal counsel as concerns arise. I highly recommend him for others in need of a attorney. Sincerely, BMC read more

I highly recommend Sanjay. He helped me with getting my citizenship approved. He is extremely honest and flexible. I feel so blessed and lucky that my cousins referred me over to him after he helped them get their green cards. Could not have landed in better hands. I have seen bad experiences happen to close family members with other attorneys who over charged them, robbed them and in the end did not provide any good service. That won't be the case with Sanjay. Thank you for your patience and honesty Sanjay! I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family. Cheers to being a U.S Citizen!! :) read more

I came to Joe Lee after I had a change in my occupation and realized I was not well organized if my husband or I had a life changing experience (death). We have property that is in both of our names... and that's it. Joe took a look at our portfolio and within days he was able to recommend a solution and to better prepare ourselves for the inevitable. He also helped spark the conversation between our children and inspired us to actually get a plot at the local cemetery! I know, it's a touchy subject, but Joe and his team handle the Estate Planning professionally, accurate and efficiently. I trust them immensely. That says a lot if you look at my review history :) read more

I am so fortunate to have found Lee, Green, Stewart & Paul. I attempted a custody battle on my own, and it didn't take long for me to realized I needed help. I set up a consultation with Sanjay Paul, and I'm glad I did. As soon as I stepped into the office, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist & offered water/coffee/tea. I then met with Sanjay, who answered every question I had about my case. He reviewed the documents I'd filed with the court myself and gave me an insightful overview on what was coming. I decided it was best not to go it alone, and having Sanjay & the staff at LGSP on my team was the best. On the rare occasion Sanjay wasn't available to talk to me, his assistant Lupe always took my calls and either answered my questions or made sure Sanjay called me back promptly. She was so sweet and empathetic. I really felt that both she and Sanjay sincerely cared for me and my children and what we were going through. I am so happy with the results of my case, and I could not have done it without LGSP. I am forever grateful. read more

I had posted an unusual case scenario and sent e-mails to over a dozen legal professionals about my question. I was getting discouraged! While I'm no expert, I've been doing my best researching CA law that might pertain to my situation. I strongly believe I have a case; but I had been hitting dead ends everywhere when looking for a professional. Sanjay's response was the first positive and encouraging feedback I've received after more than a dozen "don't bother, lady" type replies. He explained that these types of cases are typically only handled by a few lawyers; most family law attorneys do not handle such claims, well that explains it! Best of all, he referred me to a practice that does handle situations like mine, which I had insofar as been unable to find! What a great guy! Took the extra time that most would not! Thank You ! read more

I found Mr. Paul through Yelp and after reading through many positive feedbacks I decided to meet with him for a consultation. I am so happy I did so. Divorce isn't an easy process especially when there is a child involved, but Mr. Paul made the entire process easy for me. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. More importantly he isn't the typical "greedy" attorney. He has his client's best interest at heart. I absolutely love Sunjay, Paul's work and I recommend him to everyone. Ive known him for a little over two years now. I remember before I met him, I was on the search for a professional, smart, honest lawyer. Which there are very few of. Sunjay has a way of explaining things that is very understandable and I feel at ease when I leave his office, confident that he will assist me in everything related to my case. At first I thought he was a little pricey, but it is defiantly worth every penny! Because I rather pay an honest lawyer what he deserves, than a corrupted Lawyer who will screw you over for a couple 100 bucks... My first time meeting with him, I had to file for the DACA. My case was a little tricky, but he pulled through with his organized paperwork and on time manner. The second time was when I came to renew my DACA with him. The process went smoothly, he defiantly knows what he is doing. I am grateful to have him as my lawyer, and I will continue to be one of his clients. The next time I meet with him will be when I file for my Permanent Residency after I get married to my fiancé in a fews months .Very excited and nervous but I know he will get the job done right! Im moving to Texas to get married with my Fiancé,but after we are moving back to California to get my case taken care of by him. I am willing to do so, because I don't trust any other lawyer besides Sunjay :) FIVE STARS! He has defiantly changed my life, I would not be were i am today if it wasn't for people like him read more

DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!! Sanjay Paul comes across as pleasant, friendly, and professional, but his main talent is bleeding you dry financially without a second thought. His incompetence in not filing (or even telling me about) a protective order against my ex's lawyer allowed Dream Law's legal bills on my divorce case for a 1 year marriage to skyrocket to almost $50,000. The judge actually admonished him for not filing a protective order during one of the proceedings! I can only imagine that Paul was more than happy to keep billing me for every little thing the opposing counsel threw at me, and didn't want to kill the cash cow by telling me about Protective Orders. On many occasions, Sanjay even charged me $500 - $600 for simply driving to court. When it was finally time for trial and after paying him ~$45,000, I asked for a flat fee to finish the rest of the case. He refused and showed absolutely no guilt about the insane charges to date and the unlimited fees for he was requesting for trial. This guy only cares about money. Plus, in court, Sanjay was a total mild mannered lamb, who got taken to school by the aggressive opposing counsel! And to make matters worse, when I finally fired him, he actually told me he was "relieved because this case stresses me out"!! Pathetic!! Incompetence and greed is a terrible combination for a lawyer. DO NOT USE DREAM LAW. And for that matter, don't use Yelp to find a lawyer. That was how I wound up with this ill prepared, greedy lawyer who wiped out my life savings. Talk to friends or friends of friends. That's how I found my replacement lawyer, who successfully resolved my case in court for a tiny fraction of what Paul bled from me. In conclusion, Dream Law is a NIGHTMARE!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER. PS To add insult to injury, my ex's lawyer offered to represent me if I wanted to go after Sanjay Paul for malpractice. LOL read more

I have been referred to a few different attorneys by my friends who had the same need as I , immigration procedure. As I contacted 2 or 3 of them, I said lets check on yelp. After a week or so I decided to go with Sanjay and I am pleased I did so. He helped me throughout the process and I was finally approved recently ! Now regarding my friends... Sanjay is the first lawyer I worked with and I feel myself lucky to have such a good one on my side. Family cases can be very time-consuming and stressful, mine is not an exception. To make things worse, the attorney from the other party tried to make it as long and complicated as possible. I expressed my concerns to Sanjay. He listened and did a very good job dealing with that situation. I'd say Sanjay is that kind of lawyer who puts the client's needs as the first priority. He is very responsive to my emails, even on Saturdays. He is knowledgeable and his responses are very useful. He fought very hard on the hearing and I really appreciated it. My case lasted about nine months and Sanjay is always on top of it. I am very satisfied with Sanjay's service and will definitely recommend him to my friends if they need a good lawyer. read more

I can't speak highly enough about Sanjay Paul. I read his Yelp reviews and decided to give him a try. Did consults with other attorneys and ultimately chose Dream Law. Sanjay handled my divorce, and made it so effortless for me! I had no prior experience with legal services, and was skeptical about hiring a divorce attorney. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Mr. Paul is readily available for questions, extremely competent, and even dropped everything at one point to work on my case when he felt that I should have my judgment finalized urgently. He is kind, patient and genuine. I highly recommend him, and feel that this is too weak an endorsement for what he actually deserves! I worked with attorney Sanjay Paul a few years back. He was non-judgemental, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Going through the process of looking for an attorney he did not pressure me at all and helped me consider various options. He worked with my budget and gave me a better price than others. I do not know if he is the least expensive however, he understood where I was coming from and at the end of the day I was looking for a fair rate and a place where I felt comfortable. And to this day I feel his rate was more than fair, it did not break the bank whatsoever. I was very scared to proceed with what he was helping me but he made me so relaxed and like I said earlier he did not judge me. I am glad to see he started a practice of his own. He needed to, he is a phenomenal attorney! He takes the time to go through everything and answer every question...even if you do not think of the question till after you sat down with him. I know some of LA's top attorneys... I did not go through them initially because I have known them for so long and they have become family friends and I was afraid they would judge me as well as not pay too much attention to my case. Oh and they are really expensive because of how well known they are. Though family friends, my case would still be a small one compared to what they deal with and I did not want to feel like I was on the bottom of the totem pole so to speak. Sanjay was beyond excellent and basically held my hand through the process. He even told me how the day in court would go, and it went exactly how he said and it was wonderful, I did not have to do anything more than what he said I would have to do that day. He made a list of all I would need to do and all the things he would help me with. He went through all of my paperwork and was able to make sense of it all right away and even took the time to explain it to me.I could not have asked for a better experience, and though I hope to never have to go through that again or anything else again, I would gladly go to him for any problem I ever have again that requires an attorney. I suggest if you are hesitant, meet with him, you will feel comfortable and you will see that he really knows his stuff. Trust me, he has a great work ethic, is hard working, and he will make any process seem easy and you will not feel as stressful as the situation is. He takes care of you and your case from start to finish. read more

Sanjay did my divorce starting in August and he was able to end it in February which is fast considering a child was involve in the case. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Sanjay does not try to prolong the process but he try to end it within a reasonable time frame outside of court considering the other party are reasonable. I was looking at several different lawyers and Sanjay won over them during the interview process with him. I highly recommend Sanjay because I believe he is an honest and trustworthy lawyer. I am glad I pick him in the end. read more

I want to thank Sanjay for helping my husband and I through a difficult process. He was always very patient and he is quite knowledgeable in the area of family law. He never tried to gouge me for money and in fact, I noticed there were several things he could have charged me for and yet he did not. I always felt that he had my best interests on the forefront. He is honest and trustworthy and is a fabulous with performing negotiations particularly with your adversary. I didn't think he would be able to get through to my ex - but low and behold he was able to bring him back down to reality and focus on what was right for our son. It's hard to find a family law attorney who is honest, patient, knowledgeable and tries to find the best outcome for his clients, even if that involves him making less money. I know first hand because I work in the legal field and I have worked in the legal field for 20 years.
