We contacted Clean Slate based on the positive Yelp reviews and their proximity. Jon responded to our email and provided an estimate range within a day, and then came over with an assistant 2 -3 business days later and removed everything we had tagged as well as a whole lot of miscellaneous items we identified in the 2 - 3 hours they were here. Notwithstanding the stuff we had added along the way, his price came in middle of the range he had provided since he explained that disassembling the piano went smoothly. Jon is a true professional -- friendly, efficient, careful, and customer-focused. We don't usually remember to do Yelp reviews but Jon and his colleague were above and beyond expectations. If you're in a consumer vehicle, you flash your resident sticker to... nobody. The "guard booth" or whatever is never staffed. So then you cruise in to the big building on your right, back in to an open spot along the barricade, and toss your trash in to the Sarlac pit. Pop back in to your whip, and spin around the center island which houses separate bins for your recyclables (aluminum, glass, cardboard, plastics) and there's a wee spot for a goods swap - mostly broken appliances people don't want to pay the fee for to properly dispose of. To me, this practice is archaic and the op budget is better suited to subsidize private curbside pickup, but hell, I move to the suburbs, I gotta live the suburbs. Oh, and the hours are 8:00a-4:30p Friday through Tuesday. Because people tend to ask that. A lot.
