Seriously still in shock at how awesome this place is! I had a few Norman Rockwell pictures that I needed to get framed, and I was very hesitant to bring them to just "any" store, considering how important they are to me. From the second I walked in to The Great Frame Up I was treated as if they had known me for years. It's a family run business, and they do everything on site. They made everything extremely easy.. I showed them a few pictures of the room that these were going to be put in, and they gave me a bunch of recommendations (I also loved the fact that I didn't have to listen to a sales pitch). They could have easily recommended higher priced frames, but instead they really showed me that their priority was to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. A week later.. I can now say that I am an EXTREMELY satisfied customer! I just got finished hanging them, and they are absolutely perfect! Bart and Darlene were amazing! I brought 19 pieces of my art to be framed last Friday and they were ready this week. I absolutely could not believe it. I wanted a family owned business and did not want my art framed by any inexperienced framers. My art was very special and needed to be done well - they were all going to be in a museum exhibition in North Jersey for three months and I needed a framer that would do a spectacular job. I was extremely impressed with Darlene and her family at The Great Frame Up when I took my 5 very large posters to be mounted and framed. From the family atmosphere of the shop to the professional and informative staff, I really wanted them to have my business. Since I had 5 posters, I was on a budget because custom framing is VERY expensive. I got a quote from Darlene, but I also went to a few other framing and craft stores including Michaels and AC Moore (Where the prices were OUTRAGEOUS, and they quoted me in the $1000s). I only found one place that quoted me less than the great frame up, but they just didnt make me feel as comfortable. So I went back, talked to Darlene about the price, and not only did she meet the competitors price, but she even came down slightly more. She told me it would be less than a week for them to finish my framing, which it was, and when I picked them up I was extremely impressed. They were beautiful and came with everything I needed to hang them up. The icing on the cake was when they sent me a card a week later with a coupon personally thanking me for my business.
