Well, if you want the most frustrating, inefficient shopping experience possible, including arrogant sales help with a bad attitude, then this store is a must for you. Not a price in sight. The saleslady follows you around, taking down the name of what you are interested in. She cannot answer a single question about anything. Everything I asked-she wasn't sure-she would have to call the rep. Basic questions, here, people. So, with a list of about 6 tiles I was interested in, she goes to the back to 'get prices'. So I wait...and wait...and wait. I looked at all the other flooring in the store before she returned. She only did return when I left the store to go and get a pen and some paper, figuring to just write the names of the tiles down and find it myself online or somewhere else. THEN she came running out of the shop with the pricelist. When I asked her if there was a more efficient way to shop in their store, like posting prices, she says that the price depends on how much you buy and are changed by the companies too frequently to keep up with them-whatever. It's a small store, not Home Depot (who actually does post prices). Anyway, I named a store in Covington, where I did see prices posted which was much easier, she said 'Well we're not Pro***rce'. I said that that was very clear and left. Terrible, time consuming experience. Who has the time to spend THAT MUCH time in one store waiting for prices? I might have passed up tiles that would have worked for me because you can only really ask about so many before you need to make plans to spend the night there-it will take you that long to get prices on a bunch. So, you walk in, take a wild guess, and hope that one of your few choices is in your price range, or you have to start over. Ridiculous. When shopping online, prices are clearly posted. Some have a minimum order but most don't. The minimum order is usually not much. Most don't even ask for one. The companies I have called have been friendly and knowledgeable. The shipping can be reasonable and still I get a better deal. Look online for your flooring if you don't like the big box stores and I think you will be less frustrated and have a better shopping experience. read more
