The gym has plenty of equipment. In my experience, there are rare moments when sharing of equipment or waiting for equipment happens. The price of the gym is really good, particularly if seeking an international gym (a gym with international locations). There is not an Anytime Fitness in every country. Yet, after being able to access one on vacation about Tokyo, I think if one has an international itinerary involving a/ location(s) near an Anytime Fitness, the membership price is really good (even considering each location may different in offerings). Plus, the ability to access the gym on one's own, especially with the hours, is really nice. Even so, I prefer the physical key card than the digital card via cellphone. Members get about a 10% discount at Smoothie Kings. There is a common-public locker area where about 54 of the lockers are smaller and bring your own lock (BYOL). There are about 20-ish larger mini-lockers (non-BYOL) [each does not always have a key]. There is a bathroom for individuals that may be seeking bars with a seat in the shower. The other shower bath room has no seat though bars. Two bathrooms do not have showers. Automatic sprayers (air fresheners) in the bathrooms tend to be overhead near the doors. As a person that really puts in improving good effort to care for my overall well-being, I prefer not having chemicals (in this instance, from air fresheners) in my vicinity. My fiancé and I, in our last-ditch efforts to turbocharge our workout routine, decided to check out a "Hollywood" class at F45, taking advantage of their introductory class offering. Within the first 10 minutes of class, we shared collective feelings like: "What the $&@! did we get ourselves into?!"... and, "My body doesn't move that way!"... etc., etc. But after attending a few classes a week for the last few weeks, I will 100% say that this class kicks your butt in the best way possible. Physically, I'm starting to see and feel a difference. Its forcing me to be a bit more conscious about my eating habits too (there's only so much stuff you want jiggling inside your stomach at 6am!). Instructors Shauna, JoJo and Daniel are great people and awesome coaches. The workouts are high-intensity and demanding at times, but man -- do they work you out. Using the app for scheduling is easy enough, and they just started a new checking system that makes it more integrated and streamlined. Add in some great tunes and high fives during class, and I wasn't expecting to like this place so much.

A yoga studio should be a place where people come to find peace, serenity, and positive energy, but unfortunately that was not the atmosphere I encountered. The negative energy at the front desk completely overshadowed what should have been a relaxing experience. To be fair, my instructor, David, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, and created a wonderful class environment. The instructors appear to genuinely care about their students and the quality of their teaching. What made the experience even more concerning was that, after mentioning my interaction, several people I spoke with at the studio indicated that they had experienced similar behavior from the front desk staff member. One person even commented that while the instructors are amazing, the individual at the front desk often comes across as rude and brings negative energy into the space. Hearing that made me feel that my experience may not have been an isolated incident. Afterward, I attempted to address my concerns privately before posting a public review. I reached out directly and also sent a message through social media in hopes of speaking with ownership or management. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed, and my attempt to have a professional conversation was unsuccessful. When I tried to follow up, I was met with the same dismissive attitude that caused the issue in the first place. As someone who regularly visits and reviews businesses, I understand that everyone can have a bad day. However, when guests are repeatedly met with hostility, dismissiveness, or condescension, it reflects poorly on the business as a whole. Customer service matters, especially in a wellness space where people are specifically seeking a positive and supportive environment. My best friend and I are from the area, and we were genuinely excited to support a local business. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling unwelcome rather than valued as customers. While David's class was excellent and deserves recognition, the front desk experience left a lasting negative impression that management should take seriously. A yoga studio's atmosphere begins the moment someone walks through the door. I hope ownership takes steps to address these concerns so that future guests can experience the sense of peace and community that a yoga practice is meant to provide.

I love this approach to fitness. You get in, you get out, and you move on with your day. Second, the coaches at Char are next level. They are supportive and motivating without annoying the hell out of me even when I'm struggling during a workout. Third, there is a nice sense of community at this gym. Everyone knows everyone else's name. It's like Cheers but with less beer. Fourth, I've only recently returned to in-person workouts and I've been super impressed with the safety precautions. Overall, CFC is 10/10!!
