We stayed extra time just to chat with her. The weigh and pay, made from scratch weekly, dog biscuits were great. We bought a half pound to bring home to our pooch, since he couldn't join us on this particular trip. And, no surprise, he loves them. The cats were healthy, had been chipped, and we're up to date on their shots. Nine years later, my girls are still going strong! I have volunteered there as well. Their Kibble Crew works very hard to bag hundreds of pounds of dog and cat food to give away to the community. I can't imagine how much food has been given out. The shelter is always clean. The staff there is knowledgeable and their top priority is the animals. I recommend them every chance I get.

Dogs are separated far enough away from cats to minimize any anxiety. The staff is very friendly and helpful, willing to give any info they can on a particular animal. The guy was VERY rude when I was trying to make an appt for 2 pets, who would be new for them…read more They had no appts for anytime soon, and were booked until the end of August, which was understandable. I was completely willing to go ahead and book for then, just so we could get in. Everything was going fine until he asked who had groomed them before.....then the conversation went downhill quickly! Would NOT let me make an appt, even as far out as August seemingly because of, get this, who our past groomer was!!! Said lots of customers from that shop had suddenly been calling to try and get in "now", when they left his business before for her cheaper price! (Makes me wonder about HIS price!) Not the case with us at all....never had used them before. He also said that the past groomer ruined dogs, implying that this was the reason people wanted to return to him! The truth IS, which I informed him of, was that the other groomer was injured and has to have surgery immediately. She has had to temporarily had to close her shop for that reason. (We NEVER had any issues with her grooming. The dogs looked great and they LOVED her. She babied them to death and always got us in, even in a pinch.) I thought it was VERY unprofessional for him to speak about her the way he did, and very rude to basically refuse us service because we had used her before??! You really had to HEAR it to understand the coldness of it. I will NEVER call back for an appointment there! Turned me completely off before I even had a chance to see how they do!

We have been clients of this dog groomer for years, but lately they have been very unreliable. We…read morehave been happy to work with them but today I went to drop my dog off and it was 1:57 when I pulled in the parking lot, texted them at 2:01pm that I was there. Then when I got no response called and Jermey the owner says he is Sorry but it is after 2pm and they can't take the dog. I was not happy and he hung up on me. I was breaking my neck to get our dog there because I was at a job interview. I am so upset and disappointed. We have worked with this dog groomer several times when they had stuff come up, like getting back late from trips, having one of the groomers hand bitten and couldn't groom our dog, and on and on. I hate that this groomer was so rude because I felt like they were great groomers and our dog always looked good when we picked him up. I would not go to this guy unless you want to be treated poorly and have your appointment canceled at the last moment or moved because something comes up in his personal life. Poor way to run a business. Also, I'm not sure but it looked like he was possibly closing his shop when I was there, so I don't think I would trust making an appointment with him and him actually grooming your dog.
