Many wonderful details have been thought of, and they show in the layout of the facility and the decor. This was once a family home, and was added onto for the care facility. The staff and volunteers are very committed, helpful, and friendly. Your loved one will receive superior care. You'll always find baked goods available in the large kitchen area. Unlike many hospices, this one has space available both upstairs and downstairs where families can stay. There are wonderful living room areas, a porch that overlooks the garden, a lounge and more. Each room for the resident features a television, recliner, hospital-style bed, window, a bathroom, and tasteful decor. This is a warm and inviting place. More people should consider it when their loved ones are facing their final days. It's a truly beautiful facility.

They have a large group of staff and volunteers To make the remaining time of their residents pleasant and comfortable. My brother, Robert, was non-responsive when admitted. He was dying of cancer. His doctor expected him to pass away in hours. The Quiet Oaks doctors and nurses managed to readjust his medications to address his pain and restore his awareness. His received regular baths and massage therapy. He responded very well and in 2 days was able to walk to the dining area and converse with visitors. He was able to enjoy his 62nd birthday. I feel that Quiet Oaks gave us three good weeks with my brother, that we would not have had otherwise. Everyone, staff and volunteers, were professional, polite, friendly, and attentive to my brother's needs and my family's needs. This is a great facility. It is kept spotlessly clean and fresh. Care is truly 24/7. My wife and I were provided guest quarters for over 2 weeks. We were able to check on my brother frequently and be available in case of emergency. Since roads were barely passable, this hospitality was very welcome. We thank Quiet Oaks for making my brother's final days very good. I hope that should we need hospice care, that we will find a place nearly this good.

I watched about 10 people that had arrived after me get brought back.I finally got brought back about 9:50. The nurse checked my vitals and said the doctor would be in shortly. I waited another 20 minutes before she came in. She said I needed a procedure so she numbed my toes. She said the nurse would come explain aftercare. She did and then I sat there for another 45 minutes. By this time my foot was starting to wake up and not once did anyone come in to check on me or apologize for the long wait. I finally got up and told them I would find another podiatrist and left. I was there for well over 2 hours for nothing.
