They have a great Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and we got here just in time to order a couple beers and sit and relax. The beer was served ice cold and super quick despite it being a bit busy when we got here. The server was very friendly and we were able to close our tab. We were going to get food here but seeing the fact that they charge almost $25 for a regular cheeseburger we definitely decided against it. I liked how nice and refreshing the beer was and how friendly the staff here is so I will come back again for more drinks and maybe try out the virtual games they have to offer in the future but that would definitely be on the lower end of things I want to try when it comes to this place.

The only negatives (why I'm giving it 4 stars, not 5) about the Weston festival, is that parking was tough, and many of the tables closed down early. I got chair massages from one of the spa booths, which was very nice. I did a sampling of several wines and other spirits including a few Bourbons! The nitrogen ice creams were great! The Could-be-Better - if I am paying for a 2-6pm event, I would hope that the booths are equipped to serve until about 6:00pm. Some of the booths that were serving foodstuffs were already down by about 4:00pm, which left me wondering what they had to offer. If it would have been just one booth, it would have been okay, but it was about 4-6 of them, so I feel like I missed out. Also, we were wearing wristbands that identified us as customers and one of the ladies still did not want to serve us the wine sample because it was not in the cup that was given to us in the front, even though we had our wristbands and at least two viable cups. There are many large sculptures throughout the gardens, they are all labeled with the name of the work, the artist and the material. There is a large market with sculptures of all sizes for sale. The exhibit is so large it is only displayed in one location per year. While we were there, there were two sculptors working on new pieces, both took the time to speak with us. Love is in the air at the Bonnet House, while we were there they were setting up for a wedding and we saw a proposal. A beautiful setting for both. They have special events throughout the year, including an orchid show and Christmas holiday wonderland. Guided and self guided house tours are available,$30-40, we opted for the grounds tour only, $15. The gardens are well shaded so even on a warm day our visit was comfortable.

Clubhouse is absolutely outstanding with large gate to enter (Coded) and a giant plantation style clubhouse with all the amenities from the back porch and veranda overlooking to the course to the sunken dining room and ample bar area. Locker rooms are top notch for members with a small but very adequate guests locker room as well. Food in the dining room is really outstanding with over sized lunch sandwiches and a signature prime rib with dipping sauce topped with onion rings and horse radish sauce. Pro Shop is well stocked with clothing, supplies and various caddy shack items. Driving range and practice facility is second to none enormous with huge Tiff Eagle putting green various short holes to work on your short game, and large hitting area. Also top notch golf academy with top teaching pros with all the technical toys to work on your game with you. Golf course itself is very Florida like with water in play on 12 holes though Large OAK trees are not your normal Florida look. Well maintained but over watered or poorly drained makes the fairways very wet and no roll at all so it plays longer than the yardage. Downfall has to be the greens which can range from very good on some days to downright awful on others. Complete redesign of greens bunkers and holes coming next Spring / Summer along with new grass and drainage on all the fairways as well. 4 Star Facility heading towards Untouchable

This is the 52nd annual Art in the Park! That's quite a streak. Held in Liberty Park in Plantation…read morethis annual two day festival features a wide variety of arts and crafts, food, live performances, and children's activities. A highlight of the event is the Art Search which is an art competition for students. This years theme is "Splash into the Arts." I saw a wide variety of items for sale during my visit at all different price points. Some of my favorites were the colorful sun catchers, glass animals, and a wide variety of jewelry. You can definitely knock off some of your holiday shopping list here. My favorite items were by Aranji who makes handcrafted jewelry. I got a chance to talk to Ruth the creator who was so friendly. She was a science teacher who used her knowledge of chemistry to adhere glass to paper in order to make wonderful pendants, rings, and key chains. She had a large selection of already made pedants at an affordable price of 2 for $20 which even included the chain. Rings were $5. I am going to send her some pictures I took and art work my daughter created in order to make custom pendants for the holidays.
