I have sent two children there, so far, still have two to go. They definitely learn something while they are there. I find this out when they start spouting out numbers, or letters I haven't taught them before. They are flexible in the way absences are handled. This is convenient for us because we tend to take long vacations during summer breaks. I give four stars because that's the highest rating I ever give. I don't think there is a perfect organization. Our family loves Goddard School on 3401 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy SW, Marietta, GA 30064. All our kids went there. We were very grateful for the success of our son Alex in kindergarten after his time in Goddard. He came to Elementary school fully prepared, he was able to read on second grade level. His elementary school teacher says that he is helping other kids a lot with reading. We are looking for the same results for our daughter who is going to pre-k to Mrs. Elizabeth class now. Mrs. Elizabeth is a great teacher. She has years of experience and amazing program. We see that our daughter progressed a lot academically since she is in this class. I also like that I can provide my own home-made lunch to my kids when they are in school. It is very important for me as I like to know what my kids eat. I highly recommend Goddard school. read more

We were initially very happy with Goddard. But the Director position has had a lot of turn over and they keep getting worse. Our child loves his caretakers but the management is a mess. They don't advance the children they have if they get an influx of new enrollments. read more

I take my three year old to Goddard on Barrett. I've gone through 4 daycares. Starting with the cheapest one first, being Discovery point. That school is terrible. All they do is place the kid in front of tv. One of the staff there had my child in her lap in the front desk, and dropped her. Her tooth went through her lip. Needless to say, we moved. Tried two ivy halls. They are bankrupt now. Then I looked into the Goddard school. I cannot tell you the relief I have now everyday knowing my child is safe and happy. Love the lesson plans and the tadpole app. I've had a couple of issues, but having Ms. Lil, Jen, and the owner Meenu, always have open communication and willingness to work through problems is why it's a good fit for us. A good example of what a daycare feels like is a dating scenario. I feel comfortable to say the Goddard school and my family will have a long term relationship. We're rounding on almost two years. I love this school. My daughter began when she was only 9 weeks. The teachers are very caring and knowledgable, the ladies in the front office are outstanding, and the owner is wonderful. They are all very personable and I felt like it was our home. I highly recommend this Goddard School, they are doing everything right. read more

Our daughter has been at Goddard since she started daycare at 12 weeks (now 17 months) and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience there! All of her teachers have been so loving, compassionate and hands on. The directors and owner are very involved as well and you can tell they truly care about the well being of your child. Collectively they leave you with peace of mind that your child is in great hands while you have to be away. They have a strong desire to see your child exceed and always put forth their best effort. The building is new and clean and set up really well for transitioning children to the next classroom when they are ready. Great outdoor space with doors from each classroom leading to the playground to make it easy to achieve lots of outdoor time! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great, safe, clean and loving place to care for your children. read more
