Supervisor(s) knew nothing (which is a reflection of their managerial skills) the day of the event. I spontaneously called shortly after on the incident (unknowingly) and she did not disclose what happened (told me everything was fine and he hadn't been crying). I removed him immediately. A facility that will not be upfront with you and inform you IMMEDIATELY about any incident involving your child, does not deserve your child's presence. They aren't trustworthy. The one star is for a clean and well-maintained facility. Please don't allow appearances to fool you. My son was there 3 weeks attending part-time. My background: I am a therapist (work with children and adults) and educational consultant. I've been practicing for over 15 years. During graduate school, I was an elementary school teacher. It is a very academically driven school and we loved every bit of it. The teachers are very hands-on and they actually CARE and take time to work with the kids and it shows. To name a few, Ms. Carol and Ms. Carmen has taught her to be the smartest, sweetest, and most well-behaved kid from the start. Now, Ms. Jordan and Ms. Kelly has her well prepared for the next level. Everyday our daughter impresses us with what she has learned and is very excited to go back to school day after day. You wouldn't believe how many compliments we get when we're out, about how smart, polite, and well mannered she is. We definitely owe a large part of that to this school and its incredible how she stands out amongst other kids of her age. Believe me, you will definitely be able to tell the difference. Omari answered all of our questions during the tour with no hesitation. She mentioned the classroom my son would be in the kids perform above their grade level and can read! For our youngster, Ms. Krystal has made the transition into the class incredibly simple. Our procare is updated often, and kids do really pick up a lot of knowledge here. At pick up, he tells us how much he loves his new school, how much he admires his classmates and all the things they learn! This isn't "another" check to this school. My mistake was going for "well known" "name brand" schools. Don't sleep on daycares & academy's like this in the area. The level of teaching and care is on another level.
