I have been following PSC on Instagram for about a year and have loved everything I have seen. We…read morewere finally in the position to give in a try and I was so excited. Right from the moment we met I felt good about the place. Ms. Ash was warm and welcoming, her space was bright and had so many fun things to do, and I knew my daughter would get tons of outdoor time. They do yoga, are going to plant a garden, all kinds of cool things. And the enrollment packet is very thorough in getting to know your child and your family, which I appreciate. I think this is going to be a great fit for my daughter.

Our curriculum is based on a process of observation and reflection, where children play an active role as co-constructors of their own learning opportunities. As a mixed age program in an intimate home setting, each child & family contributes to the context & identity of the school. We value the importance of developing authentic relationships among peers, adults, materials & the environment, as the foundations for lifelong learning. One of our many goals is to allow children to feel safe, comfortable and in relationship with the environment of the school.

Our experience was great with this school and I'm glad we found Scott and Emily. My youngest son…read morestarted here for what we thought would be one year before we started him in The Orchard School, which is where our oldest is attending school. Instead, the experience was so good they earned the right to keep our son one more year before heading off to Orchard. There were lots of little things I appreciated about his experience here: 1 - Healthy eating! Emily and her staff were consistent in their message that kids need healthy snacks and this fits well with my personal belief we are what we eat. My son came home asking for broccoli! 2 - Geography and pin poking - This is a Montessori activity that I didn't know anything about until his experience. My son completed a map of each continent, opening the door to talking about those areas of the world and what they do there, eat there, sing there, etc. We still have these maps up in our home and use them as a reference when talking about areas of the world. 3 - Reading and singing - Scott coming and playing Rudi music on Wednesdays was a highlight for my son. When he started there, my son wasn't sure about himself or going to school and Scott's music brought out my son's personality and helped give him confidence and joy for singing and learning all the new words, sounds and days that came with those songs. He really started his love of reading here, too, which I appreciate as an avid reader. 4 - Behavior growth - My son really thrived in a time where learning those social skills, learning how to manage your emotions, learning appropriate responses to others in those situations, etc. because of the guidance at this school. I very much recommend this school as a solid choice for helping your young child get started on the right foot for their education.

They are so loving and caring for these little babies. My daughter has since moved up two classrooms but every morning we walk by and my daughter wants to stop and say hi to Linda & Iman. We both adore them. Her next class she was in with Carmen and Makayla and unfortunately it was only for a few months because my daughter adored these teachers as well. Especially Carmen! In the mornings, my daughter would go straight to Carmen and turn around and waive me. Goodbye. Although that made me sad it also made me so happy knowing she loved being at school. These teachers were so interactive with their kids and really had fun with them. We just moved up to our third room and I can't review yet on those teachers but I have no doubts I'd give them 5 stars too. I will admit when we joined earlier this year the place was a bit chaos, but since they've gotten a new Director and it has been an entirely different experience. The teachers have remained the same and the communication is way better. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone needing care for their kids.

Kiddie Academy was one of our top choices when we got on 4 waitlists in October 2022 (8 months in advance of our daughter's due date). We ended up needing to move up our start date by 3 weeks due to our daughter's early arrival. All of our waitlist placements fell through and we were in a total panic. Erica at Kiddie Academy got us in when we called in June 2023, and we are so happy with the care provided for our baby. Lynda and Iman are amazing with all of the infants. They are absolutely wonderful caregivers and we could not be happier with them. I trust them when I drop off my now 4 month old. I can peek into the classroom using the webcam service and if the teachers aren't feeding or changing an infant, and the infant isn't napping, they are playing or cuddling with each one! I second the other reviewer who states the new administrators are doing a great job. I know staffing/turnover is an issue across the industry and I hope Kiddie Academy can do whatever it takes to retain their caregivers.

Primrose is exceptional even in the "high end" daycare space. I think the difference is that they treat the employees and 'customers' like family. Our son has the same teacher as our daughter did. That's right-their employee retention is so good that there are the same teachers after 5 years. Amazing for an industry known for turn over. My son barely talks, but tells me everyday Ana (his teacher) is his best friend. Lastly I will add that when we experienced a family tragedy in 2017, I will never forget the kindness and compassion the entire staff at Primrose showed. Knowing my daughter was surrounded by people who loved her during this very hard time is priceless.

To top this all off - my daughter begs to go to school and loves it there. Thank you to all the amazing staff !
