The groom's cake was smaller and less ornate than we had anticipated, but overall, we were pleased with the cakes themselves. Unfortunately, our most recent interaction significantly changed our opinion of the business. My husband and I left the country for our honeymoon immediately after the wedding and were gone for several weeks. Due to issues with our wedding planner, our belongings were not packed or organized properly after the reception, and the bakery's cake stand was not returned within the requested timeframe. Rather than simply contacting us to arrange its return or charging us the fee specified in the contract, the bakery sent an email threatening to report us to the police for theft. The response felt unnecessarily aggressive, inappropriate, and deeply unprofessional. Because of the way this situation was handled, we would not recommend this bakery. The cakes were good, but the pricing was already on the higher end, and the threat of police involvement over a delayed return left an extremely sour final impression.
