It was their second bankruptcy filing in less than two years. So today's visit to Gymboree seems destined to be our last visit to Gymboree. There are deep savings on every shelf and rack all over the store. We bought a big bag of outfits for our two grandchildren and the pricing was amazing. Everything was marked down 60 or 70%. We bought fourteen clothing items that cost us $106 -and the register slip said we saved $199.93. The store was supposed to open at 10:00am -- the door even had the holiday hours posted confirming that time -- but the owner didn't arrive to open until 10:25. To make matters worse, when I asked for a piece of tissue paper for the bag at checkout, I was told they don't provide wrapping (but i only wanted a single piece of tissue) for items that are on sale.
