Two other well known home furnishing outfits refused to come to see if it could be repaired on-site. They like CWT suggested sending it back to H-D at a cost of several hundred dollars. The owner Amir (41 years at CWT) quoted $1,500-1,700 for a new unit. He came out to measure, looked at the problem and said "I'm not going to sell you anything". While the repair was difficult and iffy he performed his "magic" and now we have a well working unit. Didn't want to take anything for his time but I gladly gave him a generous check for his competence and most importantly his honesty. If you're thinking Caligari's don't.
