I first came across this place a few years ago when my wife and I visited the Berkshires. While…read morewalking by, we noticed several prints in the window that we thought would look great in our home. We decided to step inside and found even more things that caught our interest. They had a variety of items--jewelry, souvenirs, framed prints of artwork, comics, maps, and something I found particularly unique: framed book spines. As we browsed, the employee working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we were initially on the fence about purchasing an art print, we ended up getting that along with some of the framed book spines. We recently returned to the area and decided to stop by again. This time, the owner was there, and he was just as friendly and helpful. A few years back, some coworkers had given me a gift certificate for the store after I told them about it. I had completely lost track of it, but the owner called his wife to see if she could locate any record of it--and within 10 minutes, they found it! We left the store with another large framed print, another book spine, and an enlarged, framed vintage train ticket from the Northeast Corridor. If you're ever in Pittsfield and looking for wall art or unique souvenirs at good prices, definitely stop by this cute store.

Prices are (in my opinion) fair to a good value, I guess it's dependent on what your personal price point is and what you want to spend.

Everything is well-priced and in beautiful condition, and it's not an overwhelming amount of inventory - although they are always finding and bringing in cool, new pieces. The furniture is great, but I also love the unique art and decorative housewares. The back area also has a small, but well-curated selection of classic records and vintage clothing. I def recommend following their fb and Instagram pages to find out when new items come in - and stopping by just to check things out!

The bill was about 120.00 which for lunch is a lot but we are 2 adults/4 kids. They bring you your meal, but you get your own water and silver. I get it; it's cute, but kinda strange too - especially when lunch is that costly. The prob have some automotive stuff as well. The reason we visited is we were on vacation and my mom loves thrift stores. I knew this wasn't that, but my mom loves any kind of bargain and I wanted to check it out as well. To me, even for what it was, it kind of sucked. Maybe other locations are better - I would think they have to be to stay in business. Like another reviewer mentioned, you end up in a bank-style line and they had just one cashier open. The line got quite long, luckily we beat the rush and were pretty close to the front for what was, imo, an unacceptable time because they had several people working and they wouldn't open another register. In the end I gave my mom cash for a few items I easily could have lived without (snacks and such) and walked out. Had she not been there, I would have left sooner (after about 5-7 mins with no movement) instead of the 10 mins I waited in the same spot. This was on a Friday too. Surely that's when people get paid AND spend their $. Not a fan. Won't be back. Save yourself some time, just pay the extra 5-15% and go somewhere they actually have figured out that when 10+ people are in 1 line, you open another register.

I had never ordered any custom upholstery before, and she made it easy. She also graciously took on multiple rounds of us changing all the details. The end result is gorgeous - it's now a centerpiece of our living room. Update June 2020: We did another terrific project with Donna and her team, upholstering an antique carriage bench with fun fabric I found in Madrid. They did a perfect job, including really thoughtfully centering the pattern in the fabric and putting piping around the edges. The finished piece is transformed and brings us so much joy!
