The Gathering Spot is located in downtown Atlanta at 384 Northyards Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30313 in Suite 100 Two Tips: Parking is FREE!!! Bring a jacket or a sweater, the AC is on blast and it's kinda cold inside. I attended a Make Your Own History Black History event. The event was great and started on time. Food was not served but they did have a fully stocked Bar. I'd definitely recommend this establishment for business and social events. It was the total experience for me.

Stellar in all the ways! Food, customer service and the ability to see the movie well in all parts of the room.

Listen, I can't say enough about my experience at the Gathering Spot. In addition to this being a culture based private co-working club, there are so many benefits that you get with the membership. First of many is the free breakfast! With the price of food, that's worth it on its own. But it doesn't stop there, you also get monthly events and seminars included with your membership that pour into your business knowledge base and creates a network specific space for you to connect with likeminded individuals. I also love that they offer an array of other business services for entrepreneurs, creatives, and executives like meeting room rental, mailboxes, private desk rental, printing, and a restaurant and bar. This space is perfect! Great for the modern day entrepreneurs. Cool for mixers and other events as well. RJ at the the front desk was amazing, very warm, welcoming and hospitable. I highly recommend becoming a member and utilizing its benefits.

I've been to several hosted events at this business club. I LOVE the atmosphere, the interior, and how modern it is. The parking is free, it's in an awesome location downtown, not far from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and easy to access is you're coming in from out of town. For an inspirational story, Google the story of the founders, two young men who created the club.

Ohhh man oh man. The food I had here was amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I am very particular about how my Brussels sprouts taste but this place blew my mind away. Thank you so much for his amazing salmon and Brussels sprouts.

The Gathering Spot is the perfect event space! I've been to nearly 5 or 6 different events here and they were all complimented well by this establishment. The parking lot is huge, so you won't have an issue finding a spot. The main lobby area is nice with a few areas for seating. More around the corner is a large bar that usually has two or three bartenders. Across from the bar are table tops to stand, converse, drink/eat. The main room is very spacious. I've been in this room where there's been a free for all mingle session with live music and I've been in this room for screenings with hundreds of chairs. This spot works well for either type event. It's cold in here, so keep that in mind if you need to bring a light jacket.

Our company held its 30th anniversary party at the Atlanta Country Club in East Cobb. Despite…read moreAtlanta in the name, the club is technically in Marietta, just north of the Chattahoochee River. In this regard, it's sort of like Atlanta Athletic Club which is in Johns Creek/Duluth. We used to have our annual holiday party here, but switched up the venues over the last 10+ years, so it's been a while since I've been back. It's pretty much just as I remember it. Interesting facts for golf fans: Atlanta Country Club hosted the inaugural Tournament Players Championship, now known as The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Jack Nicklaus won the first tournament in 1974. There's a commemorative plaque in the clubhouse signed by Nicklaus. From 1967 to 1996, the club hosted an annual PGA Tour event previously known as the Atlanta Classic (1967-1981), the Georgia-Pacific Atlanta Golf Classic (1982-1988), the BellSouth Atlanta Golf Classic (1989-1991), and the BellSouth Classic (1992-1996). The tournament eventually moved to TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth where it last became known as the AT&T Classic. Sadly, the AT&T Classic ended in 2008. It's okay though because at least Atlanta still has The Tour Championship at East Lake. After 1996, the only clubs in metro Atlanta to host a PGA Tour event are the aforementioned TPC Sugarloaf and East Lake Golf Club as well as Atlanta Athletic Club which hosted the 93rd PGA Championship in 2011. I've noticed of these clubs, which are all private, Atlanta Country Club is the only one that isn't gated. Note: Atlanta Country Club didn't host the Atlanta Classic in 1974 because of The Players Championship and in 1976 because the US Open was at Atlanta Athletic Club. Davis Love III's father, Davis Love, Jr, was the first golf pro at Atlanta Country Club. Love III played junior golf here. Like Nicklaus, there's a commemorative plaque for Love III inside the clubhouse. Larry Nelson, who won 10 PGA Tour events including 3 majors, is a member. There's a room with Larry Nelson memorabilia. It includes letters he's written to the club, a putter, and the red sweater he wore when competing in the 1987 Ryder Cup at Muirfield Village in Ohio. Nelson has won twice at Atlanta Country Club (1980, 1988) and won the 1981 PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club. Our party consisted of a cocktail hour and seated dinner for about 120 guests. The cocktail hour took place outside of the ballroom and consisted of an open bar and servers walking around with hors d'oeuvres. Hors d'oeuvres included Asian spring rolls, Beef Wellington, and bacon-wrapped scallops. Our seated dinner consisted of a bread course; Boston Bibb lettuce salad with slices of orange and blood orange, goat cheese, pecans, red onion, and a vinaigrette; filet mignon and Chilean salmon with creamy mashed potatoes, tomato confit, and green beans; and cake and petit fours from Gabriel's in Marietta. Red and white wine were served with dinner and there was coffee to go along with dessert. It was a fancy dinner with beautiful table settings, floral arrangements, and live music. The ballroom was brighter than I remembered it. The setup was traditional - classy and elegant, almost like a wedding reception. Our party planning committee brought in the Atlanta Jazz Trio to play music during dinner. They did a nice job. I enjoyed all of the food, from the hors d'oeuvres to dessert. My favorite of the finger foods was the bacon-wrapped scallops. They were delicious. The Bibb salad was great. Fresh and crisp. The filet mignon was cooked to about medium rare, which is the doneness I prefer. The salmon was a little dry, but overall the entree was fine. The assorted petit fours included chocolate, white chocolate, and sweet and nutty treats. The cake was decorated with our company logo. I liked that the coffee fixing station had whipped cream. Service was good. At dinner, ladies were served first, then men. All in all, it was a return to a classic venue and I had a good time.

We took the W tournament run by my great friend Slate Fluker to benefit the Riverwood High School Football Team. Indian Hills country club is an amazing place. The staff is excellent. They really treated us wonderfully with great generosity and excellent organization. A very well run tournament with a great food to follow. There are 39 hole courses stretching through this historic East Cobb neighborhood. Cool houses and great looking holes out there. Some of the holes are blind dog leg shots with layup options or hitting bombs over the trees. The greens were slow, but rolled really pure and we were obviously able to make a lot of putts. Apparently, there is a five-year waitlist at this golf club and for good reason. Located right there in Indian Hills neighborhood convenient to all of the residents of East Cobb. The cost to join here has to be significantly less than Cherokee town and country club. Quality plays some glad I finally had the opportunity to play it .

We took care of our errand at Home Depot and came back / found parking and found a spot on the greens about an hour before dusk. Kids were playing everywhere and out little one loved it. The fireworks started and lasted for a good 15-20 minutes. It was a spectacular setting! Our little one was viscerally moved by the fireworks by trying to grab them out of the air. Afterwards we walked back to the car and along the way neighboring homeowners kept the show alive with additional fireworks overhead. How fun! Lucky we went too before July 4th ended up being rained out with t-storms and lightning. Can't wait to come again next year.
