I will say the public areas of the hotel appear clean and well maintained. It's somewhat uncommon for us to dine at a hotel restaurant without staying at the hotel as well. We however have stopped at Season's three different times now when there's been a snafu with going to another destination. We haven't been disappointed yet. We've had the Friday fish, Sunday broasted chicken and rounded it out with a ribeye to boot. Pleasantly surprised with each dinner. They each seemed to be a quality entree with decent flavorings. It is a restaurant within a hotel, so it's not super fancy. I note it as a worthy destination if you find yourself looking for a bite to eat and it's that time of day when other area restaurants might have too long of a wait.

The desk clerk was nice and polite, it's not her fault the place reeks of a run down house with a wet basement. She checked us in and tells us our room is on the second floor on the North side and we will want to drive around and park in back. What she failed to tell us was they have no elevator. So here is my husband trying to carry up a completely full large cooler with probably a case and a half of beverages and 20 pounds of ice, along with his duffel. and me with a brace on my foot/ankle carrying my bag, trying to make it up a flight of stairs in a hallway that is more like a sauna. We finally make it to our room, open the door and find it's not just the hallway that's a sauna, but the room too. First things first, where is the AC? Second, after being on the road over 4 hours, the bathroom. I walk in the bathroom to find a toilet that is so small and short that it looks like it was pulled out of a grade school. Then I notice a handicapped grab bar in the shower. Nice feature, right. But I have to ask, who puts a handicapped grab bar in a second floor hotel room that doesn't have an elevator so the handicapped can access the room? Where is the logic in that? Also there are no available sockets near the bed to plug in and change cell phones. We are in a room with 2 queen size beds and there is only one light source between the 2 beds to be shared by both beds. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but the signal is so weak my husband could not get a text message to go through to his brother on the first floor. So now after just 3 hours of sleep on a rock hard mattress, here I sit in the dark for over an hour now, at 3:30am, unable to breathe due to the mold and mildew in a hot room writing this review and looking for a different hotel to stay in hoping that the shower at least has good water pressure and wondering how this place is rated as one of the best hotels in the area. I don't know, maybe my standards are too high.

The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.

The bus is set up with seats lining the walls instead of your typical bus style. And our driver was amazing. I wish I would have remembered his name but he was the best. I highly suggest Bash On Wheels! You will not be disappointed!

She was smoking cigarettes on the bus. She blamed us for smoking on the bus when she was and told us we could. We went to the casino and left the bus and decided to gamble as well. She wanted tacos late at night (we were supposed to be back at 2 AM). She said not to tell her owner that we would be late and that she would cover for us. The tacos were 15 mins out of the way. We did not get back till 3 AM. Then she went and picked up her son - who proceeded to puck (as she told me the next morning, as she was our driver the next day). She returned the bus at 4 AM, which we were already home for - but we got charged an extra two hours. The next day we were out and about at bars. She sat on the bus, as most of the time this is how this process goes. We had been through things like this similarly. When we headed to dinner, we told her where we were going. She decided to come in, invite herself to dinner, did not ask, and ordered what we were eating (pre-picked fish broil). She did not offer to pay for it. She left and was gambling. When we wanted to leave, she was still playing on the video slot machine. She was the last one to leave our "group." We tipped her generously, despite all of this, on both days. Yet she had the audacity to text her boss and tell him we did not. And we had receipts to prove it. Just a disaster. On top of us getting charged for extra time and two cigarette burns - which none of our group smokes. Would not recommend it.

Professionalism: Top notch communication from the menu consultation to our menu tasting event to the final details and day of service. Julie was kind, patient, resourceful, and truly knows her craft of catering. She had menu recommendations ready and worked well within our budget for catering a 100 person wedding. Her total staff for our wedding was 10 and each was friendly and eager to help in anyway, while also providing attentive service. When the venue set and poured a champagne glass for my new husband who doesn't drink alcohol- the catering staff corrected the table setting immediately. Food: Started with appetizers and a full-service ice cream bar during cocktail hour. The food was delicious and displayed beautifully. Julie also has some amazing ice cream selections. We followed appetizers with a plated dinner service with three options (Grilled Filet Steak, Champagne Chicken, and an "all free" Stuffed Pepper option for our dietary restricted guests. Steak was prepared perfectly medium rare and the chicken was well seasoned and perfectly paired with our sides. We ended the night with late-night pizza (We're Badgers after all) and it absolutely made our guests' night..or perhaps morning a little easier ;) Bonus Points: One of my very best friends lives and works in Charlotte, NC and has worked and managed fine dining restaurants his whole career. Garrison shared that our wedding food and service was the best he's ever had. Our group is a tough crowd sometimes and Julie Kay's food & service "Wow'd" our closest family and friends. Highly recommend scheduling a catering consultation for your event today!
