Undeterred, I decided to take a stroll around the nursery to see if I could find any hidden gems. As I wandered through the rows of plants, my eyes caught sight of a peculiar sight. Nestled within a 15-gallon plant container, I noticed two black oak seedlings volunteering their presence. They seemed to be thriving amidst the other plants, their delicate leaves dancing in the gentle breeze. It was as if they were calling out to me, begging for a new home. With a sense of excitement and possibility, I approached the nursery staff to inquire about these unexpected discoveries. They seemed surprised, unaware that these resilient seedlings had taken root within the confines of the container. After a brief discussion, the staff kindly give me these little wonders, acknowledging that they could be a special addition to any garden. I have felt very judged and as if I was a poor dog parent. That was not the case here.
