I had them booked for several months and I stayed in regular contact. On Thursday before the Sunday event at our church, I reached out to discuss our rainy day plan (since it was forecast to rain), they said "I think it's best to cancel if it rains. We never had a good experience in the past." **Note, the word IF.** I replied back that we could have people eat indoors and that we had an awning they could park under right by the doors. Regardless of rain, people would still stay to eat. No response. On Saturday, I texted to let them know that if it was light rain the next day, we planned to go ahead with the event but if it was storming, we'd cancel.
