Nicely pressed bread, tasty pulled pork, pickles, mustard, etc. The sides were good as well - I enjoyed both the potato salad and the spicy slaw. It's a fairly new establishment, owned by a fairly young gentleman. First impressions were, "wow!" Rustic charm with a rather bug dining area. Looked very new and clean. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us great service. The food - $10-20+ on certain things and well worth it. The portions are great. Food was delicious and the service was good! Highly recommended by a friend and as new customers- I highly recommend it too. They also have entertainment on certain nights. Kid friendly, and handicap entry available.

I really wish that I could give a better review, but I have to be honest. I really wasn't 'feeling…read moreit' here. I started off with a bacon and corn chowder that was so unappealing to the eye that I didn't even want to taste it. It looked like thick, lumpy, gray mashed potatoes with corn in it. I promise you I'm being kind with that description. On the bright side it actually tasted good, but it just looked awful. My main course was fish with a baked potato, unfortunately the fish wasn't fully cooked and the baked potato had cold spots in it. I understand that some smaller establishments baked potatoes and refrigerate them but it's important to make sure that they're good and hot when they're served to the customer. I mentioned the uncooked fish to the waitress and without telling me she asked them to fire up a new one, which I did not want. As a customer I should have been asked about that. In a situation like this, good communication is very important. I hate to say it J J, but I think the next time I take the spaceship out, I'm going to steer towards another world...

The patties were crisp on the outside and properly salted, cheese was abundant and perfectly melted, sauced on both sides of the patties with a quality burger sauce and the bun was soft and provided a slight sweetness to offset the unctuousness of the beef/cheese/sauce. This is probably the best smash burger I've had since Red's Good News. As a bonus, Federal Galley has a strong happy hour and some of the best outdoor seating in town. It's also perfect if your partner doesn't like burgers since there are constantly changing food options available at this food hall.
