As a fifth generation San Franciscan I can truly appreciate a bar like the four deuces. My buddy who ive inown since 3rd grade texted me to meet up here...I had never heard of the 4 Deuces...I was shocked how great a place it is! Not really a dive bar at all. Really clean. Comfy space with plenty of screens, pool table, darts. Great backyard area. Reasonable prices. Pint and a shot are 12 bucks Fantastic staff. The lovely lady who was 4-5th gen SF was amazing. Highly recommend watching a game here.

Cool place to grab drinks, play pool and darts with some friends. The pool table was $1/per game. When they do darts tournaments, the pool table is off limits because there's not enough space for people to play darts. Customer age range looks 30+. I had a great relaxing time here drinking an old fashion and play pool with my friends. Street parking is super easy to find

Awesome service, neighborhood friendly place to watch the game. Really nice bartender, Betty there made my NY Eve super lovely as well. I went in the first time, forgot my phone, came back and immediately greeted by Betty. She made an awesome cosmo drink perfect for pictures. Pink is my favorite color as I am aka babysoftpink for my online broadcast. Clean no stickiness on table. Easygoing , nice crowd there. I sat on the side to post for my pictures and felt totally comfortable, everyone was having lots of fun to prep for the new year so if you need some family vibe of happiness, this is the spot. I saw the pool table and there were pathway to the backyard for smokes, dog runaround and business etc. Not your typical Irish pub is also situated to a certain four-stars seafood restaurant if you are hungry before or after! My UberEats super store for dim sum is also nearby. Plenty of street parking outside. I saw two both times I stopped by this afternoon. I recommend giving them a try if you like mellow, parkside vibe, neighbors friendly pub. Betty knows how to entertain and uplifts the crowd too if you need some positivity!

Tim, owner-bartender-legend, is amazing.. Looks like an Irish bar, feels like an Irish bar, IS a great Irish bar! Just experience it for yourself and I'm sure you won't regret it :) Cheers!

    Me. Extremely drunk.

The best damn bar in SF. And the fresh whipped cream on Irish coffees is divine! I highly recommend hitting this place before dumpling house up the street. Just a good ol no frills bar that has a smoking area out back.

One thing about me is that I love to make the most complicated drink orders but that means nothing to these fine bartenders. Every time I've been here the staff is super nice and professional and makes whatever drink I want exactly how I want it they make a point to remember me and my dogs. Tonight I ordered a margarita but in a specific way (you know how there are a million ways to make a margarita), but it turns out my margarita choice was already one of their cocktail specials... so that worked out. I particularly liked the glassware, made it feel special.

This place has done a total 180! The staff (give it up for an all female bartending team) are amazing and run the place like a top. Strong drinks, great local liquor selection, and always a fun vibe. Big bar for pool and darts and many fun regulars. They have food for some holidays (St. Patty's, Cinco de Mayo, etc) They even have an outdoor patio that's dog friendly before 8pm. This is our favorite spot!

    Checking out the selection! #specials

Came here with the co-workers to watch the Monday Night Football game and the Star Wars trailer!!! Good night out for sure. Started out with brews and eventually turned to the mixed drinks later in the night. I like the beers on tap here. Good selections to choose from as well. I had considered getting the PBR that was on tap because they had the happy hour deals going but I moved on from it. I found the outside seating to be nice. It is fairly small but there is enough room to function. The sunset really made the time in the patio well worth the it. The place didn't get too busy which made for ample room to walk around and feel free. There were also hotdogs!!! They were a nice touch to this place especially after having my brews!!!! No one went over to the jukebox to turn on tunes but it was cool though. A few folks played at the pool table while some of the others played darts. Also, the have a charging station for you cellphone!! Yes, that is what I am talking about!! That is much appreciated. The evening was just a success. I will be back to get that Long Island Ice Tea that I wanted to order but never got around to doing!!! #deucesfolks

Unless maybe if you're not a local regular customer. As a non-local, I came upon it as I was walking on Taraval all the way from Ocean Beach. The first time I visited, I was looking to wet my whistle without resorting to booze. The bartender happily complied by pouring me a Diet Coke. I felt badly I didn't order a proper stiff drink, so I tried to make up for it in the tip. Months later, I found myself returning on a rather nippy afternoon. As luck would have, just as I took a seat at the bar (and not the one shaped like a concave set of cheeks), I saw a hand drawn chalkboard advertising "Tito's Borghetti Espresso Martinis $12". Yep, that was it for me (Photo 7). The Tito's brand really made the difference, especially the Caffè Borghetti Espresso Liqueur. Very smooth with just the right amount of kick. Meanwhile, the true regulars were socializing with each other like an episode of "Cheers". I just need to take a long ride on the L-Taraval MUNI line to get here. I recommend placing your FULL order as it will take awhile on game day. Price point the chicken wings were delicious and I would recommend! I was still a bit hungry and my bf ordered me the fried artichokes and the chicken basket but I think since it was such a madhouse, they forgot. Looking forward to trying them next time though! They were attentive with keeping our tables clear of empty glasses, plates etc. Everyone on staff seemed friendly and it was a cool place to hang with everyone and watch the game. Good amount of tvs and a back area. | January 11, 2026 |

If you are financially not in the good place, I don't recommend playing crane games. Most of my experiences with the smaller crane game, where only one item is placed in the platform, is friendlier. Friendlier I mean that it usually takes me 1-5 tries to get the prize. The larger the item, the more tokens it takes. For the case with these crane machines, if the item moves in an area that makes it impossible for the crane to reach, you can find a staff member, and they will move the item back to the original spot. Items in the crane machines are generally cute, and also tend to lean towards recently trending anime series. Occasionally, they offer collaborations with other series, so it's fun. This Round1 contains half of the room with crane games and arcade games, and then the remaining half contains bowling and eating area. Recently, within the arcade area, they added 3 rows of gatchapon machines. I played at the bowling alley once, but I think I'm just naturally more entertained with arcade and crane games. On weekends, the arcade side is bustling with rhythm game players in groups, and it's a joy to see them playing together. I was happy to see the Taiko game and Dance Dance Revolutions games to play some songs. I was impressed with the Taiko game; it updated with recently new songs from Japan. Recently discovered coin push games at Round1. I never was attracted to this type of arcade game, but there was one machine that combined RPG battling style. I also wasn't interested in ticket collecting to exchange for prizes either, but after trying different machines, I found one that will balance out my crane game or rhythm game enjoyment (but returns no tickets/points) to the coin push games.

Something about a One-Piece promo (for every $20, you get a promo card pack or something). He isn't able to make it to any location before the promo ends. Apparently, you have to be the person who signed up to claim the promo. (Somewhere in the terms, it says it isn't transferable.) Which sucks. Made my way out from Fremont. Stood in line. I had his ID and his claim email. And money ready to go. Trying to not be a jerk and as low impact to everyone else as possible. Got to the front, showed the lady the email. Showed her my brother's ID. She checks her list. She checks the email on my phone. Then swipes to the top of the email and asks me why the email was forwarded. I said that I am trying to pick this up for my brother. Then I was turned away. Not sure why it bothers me. Maybe it was the unnecessary swipe/probing around my phone. Or maybe I was annoyed that I had to bend over backwards to make my way out there. But yeah... left empty handed. I was ready to buy the maximum. I was super hungry and needed a snack... and was planing on maybe grabbing something... And I was hoping to get a few games or few claw machine attempts in... Instead... I just head straight to the exit. Did not spend a dollar. And probably will not consider this location or any other location in the future. I totally understand why the policies are in place. I know the OnePiece TCG thing is just bonkers to certain group. The party in front of me was a family of three and... it looked like they each walked away with the per person limit. It was just me and my mom... but only me trying to claim anything. Honestly, I think 3 stars would have been the appropriate rating. But... I downgraded to 2 starts as the extra swiping motion on my phone to look at other parts of the email, especially without asking, felt like a violation of my privacy. Lesson learned... not going to let people touch my phone any more. If they want to see more information, I can show them. But no touchy.
