Want to be Pampered? Denise is the best! When leaving The Fountain, my face feels radiant, and I think I look younger.

Update 12/01/25: 1 had an appointment with a medical tattooist, and she didn't want to touch it…read more She said, it's possible she could make it worse and it wouldn't be permanent. My dermatologist said, lasers, such as excimer, are not guaranteed, not permanent and require ongoing treatments indefinitely. Basically, it would be a life long commitment for a treatment that is not guaranteed. It would be very time consuming going three days a week for an unknown amount of time. Therefore, this is not a viable option. Third, I had a consultation with two plastic surgeons in Plymouth. Initially, they didn't want to touch it because the incisions would cause another problem. I would be swapping one cosmetic problem for another one. Since this was my last resort, the head surgeon agreed to do a little research and reach out to other plastic surgeons for their opinion. He said, the problem is pigment can't be restored, therefore, hypopigmentation can't be treated. I should have gone to him first. At this point, I'm waiting for the plastic surgeon to contact me with a possible solution, if any. Of course, this is the most expensive option with the surgeon's fee, anesthesiologist fee and surgical room fee. I'm looking at thousands of dollars However, if they can fix it, I would find a way to pay for it. Apparently, Stillwater Skin & Spa feel they are being unjustly targeted and reminded other businesses to remain vigilant. With that, if the plastic surgeon is able to fix it, l'll attach a copy of his diagnosis, surgical procedure, all fees and a photo of my face post surgery. Regardless, I will attach a copy of the diagnosis I received from each doctor I consulted with. As l've said more than once, one of those doctors is Stillwater Skin and Spa's medical director. They accused me multiple times of not meeting with them and their medical director. Note, their medical director has been my family physician for 20 years. This should put those accusations to rest. It's very important to me to provide the public updates so this doesn't happen to others. In my opinion, the laser services at Stillwater Skin & Spa should be shut down. The tech that worked on me needs more training before being allowed to perform laser hair removal services. This further proves I'm not out to unjustly target Stillwater Skin & Spa. Nobody should go to this business for laser hair removal. I have no opinion of their other services; laser hair removal was the only treatment I had there. Stillwater Skin & Spa also accused me of threatening to write a review if I wasn't given a refund. This is not true. First of all, they refunded me the portion of my package I did not use. However, they did not refund me for the treatment where I was scarred. The cost for that treatment was $300. I didn't threaten to write a review, I just did it,

I know this because I have been blessed with a creepy stache ever since puberty, and had always wanted electrolysis but was apprehensive about it - the cost, any side effects or reactions my skin might have, etc. Annie was great about explaining the process and reassuring me that the redness from the procedure will fade within hours. She is one of the sweetest and friendliest business owners I've encountered as well, and that will also put you at ease! Allure is located in a single office suite on the lower level of a building called Midway on Greeley. The room is comfortable and nicely decorated and Annie is professional. No need to worry about botched services here. Prices are reasonable compared with other places I've seen too. Annie will make sure you get your money's worth and is an honest and generous person. She has even thrown in little bonuses for me like a tiny take-home jar of special lotion to ease the irritation after electrolysis, or a quick treatment for my acne while I was there for electrolysis. Electrolysis - especially on the upper lip - can hurt like a mother, but the topical numbing gel and soothing lotion Annie uses make it a little easier. It may look like your face is super red and irritated afterward, but not to worry. I've never had that last more than a day. And although it takes a number of sessions to get rid of all the hair, I noticed a difference after just a couple sessions.

I've been a member of this location since February of 2020. For the most part my experience has…read morebeen pretty good. There were challenges in booking services during peak pandemic years to the tune of needing to book 2-3 months in advance, but that was likely true for many locations with staff shortages and seem to have levelled out. They're continuing to raise membership fees even into 2023 (have increased 20% since Feb 2020) which is somewhat confusing considering economic conditions and discretionary spending trends happening elsewhere, but that's certainly their business decision. I've found that Jeremy is an excellent massage therapist with strong communication skills; he seeks understanding of my needs and solicits updates since our previous sessions--a good massage therapist. Recently, I needed to end my membership as I've moved out of the area and there are no ME locations in my new city. Part of membership since 2020 has included accumulation of points that can be used for enhancements. Despite building a balance over the years, I've typically declined to use them during sessions as they seem a bit gimmicky (lotions, rapid tension relief gun, CBD oil etc.). During my last visit in mid-August, the front desk associate asked if I would like to use my points for an enhancement. Because it was my last session, I figured that I might as well opt for an enhancement with my points, since they would likely be forfeited, so I did. This was under the premise that points would cover the service and the associate made no mention of additional cost charged to my credit card on the account. I was charged $32.14. Days later I called confused about the nature of the charge where an associated explained that it was for an enhancement. I explained my exchange during the last visit and current displeasure about this charge because it wasn't presented in a straightforward manner and felt like a bait and switch. I was told it would be escalated to a manager, who never called. Two weeks later, I sent an online request to be contacted by a manager. within 2 days, I received a call back but was given the run-around. This manager was going to speak to their manager and so-on. I've not received any communication from that manager, and, it appears they're satisfied with this conduct. A disappointing end to my membership because they seem to prioritize an extra $32.14, for something unprofessionally offered, over customer satisfaction. I rarely write reviews, when I do it's in appreciation for good services and experiences. So, this isn't a gotcha or spite review. I'm just disappointed and offer this as a caution to other members/customers when implied no-charge services are offered as they may just plan on charging your account without consent.

Check out this salon!…read more I definitely had a five-star experience! I'm so satisfied with the results of my hair color and having my hair rejuvenated with the Olaplex bond building treatment. It helped repair my damaged hair. My hairstylist was Adeana. She is very talented, has excellent customer service skills, fun to talk too, and gives a fantastic head massage while washing your hair. Your temperature is taking at arrival, and there is hand sanitizer provided. All staff and clients must wear masks. It is also my understanding that due to COVID, they temporarily had to suspend coffee and other treats they offer, such as snacks and different beverages. They still do have bottles of water available. The inside of the salon is so clean, and they even wipe down the sink and chair after someone has used it. The Interior is decorated so lovely with plants and all different fun mirrors!

I highly recommend The Hairdressers as they really care and value their clients, and above all, they have integrity, which can be a rarity in this business.
