One of the most intimidating things for me as a woman is walking into a new hair salon. It is a…read morelittle like being a new girl in a new high school. You walk in and all eyes are on you judging your appearance...YIKES! You never know the prices because you can look it up online but there is always a huge scale depending on the level of stylist you get and there are just a ton of unknown factors involved. What "type" of hair do they work with most? What is the theme of the salon? I recently moved and was way overdue for a hair cut...seriously even one of my dearest friends told me to lose the bun on top of my head! hahahahaha that has become my go-to style out of sheer laziness. I decided that this salon looked decent enough from the outside as I passed a couple times so I did a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get right in for a haircut and eyebrow wax. The ladies were friendly and I was offered a hot beverage which was very nicely served in a glass mug....that is a great thing. There was a nice exposed brick wall and lovely light fixtures as well as comfortable hair shampoo stations. My stylist Ashley was easy to talk to and she listened to me and offered her expert opinion and advice and we proceeded to take approx three inches of hair off and then for the first time in my life the stylist actually styled my hair exactly how I would if I had any skills at all. I loved this about her... so often I have left the salon not feeling like myself and waiting to just wash and do my hair myself to see how the cut really came out. Nope---Ashley did an amazing job and made me feel fresh and frisky again! My brows still need some help she cleaned them up with what she had to work with but I need to find a lady that is top-notch shaping artist to get them how I would like them....

My aunt was raving about this cute little beauty bar…read morein downtown Hudson, and was dying to take me and show me the wonderland of cosmetics and beauty products that they have. It's a tiny little bright pink shop, walls lined with sparkly, girly, professional-grade makeup. They've got everything from cosmetics, false eyelashes, hair extensions, solutions & potions... you name it, it will be there! They carry really unique lines of products I haven't seen before - first and foremost their own BB line, and a few others as well. The products all looked like they are as high quality as MAC cosmetics. The girls who helped me out, Jaimie and Shelly, were so sweet and friendly and really smart. They helped me with some gorgeous hair extensions - showed me how to put them in, style them, take them out, and even showed me how they wear their own. They also offer all kinds of services - makeup and eyelash application, and so on. I'd definitely recommend a visit to their boutique!

It is now 2026 and she is still doing 5 star work - for me it's been four years of 5 stars. Both women and men love her. For me it's color and foil with occasional extras but I get my products from her for certain. If you snag an appointment and it's a Wednesday, you get a bonus of her sweet dog in residence. I'd include a picture but you'd just be jealous of her talent.
