I've been searching all over Fresno for a new sofa for several months. I hit all the major players…read morein this area. I visited both big box stores and mom and pop types. I'd really almost given up when Brick & Mortar showed up in my Yelp list. With excellent reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. I almost fell over when I discovered the couch of my dreams hiding in a corner! It was exactly what I'd been looking for. First off, this place is pretty small and not exactly super easy to find. It's near fifth street in Clovis, so it's nowhere near my usual shopping venues. When you first walk in, you get the feeling that you're someplace very unique. There aren't tons of the same items. Every piece of furniture and other decor is displayed so tastefully. It felt like a shop you'd find in SF. Very classy. The owner and another worker were so very helpful. No creepy salesman vibe here. They were helpful and obviously knew what they were doing. I really can't say enough about this store. I will definitely continue to purchase my furniture here. Trust me, this place is legit! Give it a try!

After visiting various furniture stores in the area; seeing the quality of the furniture and Andy's professionalism with personal service won me over. Andy helped me find the right color and fabric I was seeking, which wasn't an easy task because I am rather picky when it comes to textures. The most important part of my wonderful experience with Brick & Mortar was that I gave him my price range and he made it happen with free delivery. The sectional arrived within 3 weeks and Andy delivered and carefully set it up immediately. I could not be happier. I would definitely purchase all over again and I plan on returning for a chair and a half.

Now that I see they've purchased from other large stores as well as HomeGoods I see that they are particularly greedy with their prices at this store. I usually love coming here because I admire their stock and the way they display their booths. As a higher up at HomeGoods I can easily recognize that tons of items in this store are purchased from HG/TJ Maxx/Marshall's and resold for usually 3-4x the price, but I've always been willing to look past that because we have so many "collectors" who buy and resell our products in various markets anyways. I recently bought a gingerbread man garland from the store for $15 and when the lady sold it to me, she said the owner of that booth "handmade" all the garlands. However, I visited Hobby Lobby a few days later and found the same garlands that were in the store that they claimed were homemade. Not to mention the garland was only $7 in Hobby Lobby. I don't mind the reselling but do not lie about your products.

Kristie is, quite simply, amazing. We hired her to design our older, outdated house that we…read morepurchased in 2021. It was a big job that involved a lot of people and moving parts, including a general contractor, several subcontractors, Kristie and us (the client). Kristie managed everything and everyone seamlessly. Her role included a complete "gut" and redesign of five bathrooms and two kitchens, as well as new floors, paint, lighting, fixtures and furniture throughout the entire main house and a guest house. She made selections, created design boards, and discussed the pros and cons of various selections with us without making it overwhelming. It was important to us that the houses be beautiful while still being practical/durable (we have a young child and two large dogs), welcoming, cozy and having a great "flow" throughout, and she absolutely delivered. Kristie has unique ideas, is incredibly creative, works hard to save her clients money and stay in budget, has great communication skills, and, most importantly, is a joy to work with. We highly recommend Kristie, you will not regret it.

Hiring a designer always feels risky to me- very subjective service that feels like a luxury. If you are contemplating hiring Kristie, don't hesitate! 10 out of 10. Exceeded expectations. Well worth the investment.
