The visuals, the interaction puzzles, the challenges all have your mind trying to decifer what's real and what's not. It did challenge our minds a lot towards the end, they have lockers to store items and they definitely pay the ac bill so maybe bring a jacket. They have a gift shop as you leave with prizes and brain teasers to take home so stop in if you get a chance and bring the kids. Bathroom rating: 4/5

Disappointed and Frustrated with Booking Experience…read more I was really looking forward to celebrating my 21st wedding anniversary with a romantic sunset cruise and was excited to see that Sea Philly had availability on the actual day. I booked through their online system and paid in full -- the money was taken from my account immediately. Unfortunately, I received a phone call shortly after telling me that the date I had booked wasn't actually available, and that the company managing Sea Philly's bookings "messes up all the time." While I understand that mistakes happen, what followed was even more disappointing. I was told a refund had been issued, but five days later, I still hadn't received anything. When I reached out again, I was told by the owner, Georgette Luna, that the refund was now "out of their control" and being processed by the bank. What was supposed to be a special and romantic experience turned into a stressful and frustrating one. I hope others have a smoother experience, but I felt it was important to share what happened. Proceed with caution if you're booking through their current system.

Every aspect of this tour is unforgettable. From the couple who owns the business, to the boat, to the charcuterie, to the actual river itself. Of course - this is very much weather dependent, but we were blessed with a gorgeous evening and sunset. It was a very informative trip - learning a lot about Philly and the Delaware River. We headed out to Petty Island, which is where we anchored up and watched the sun set over the city. I won't spoil the story of the boat itself, but it truly is one of a kind. Beautiful, wood, old-school/Italian style cruiser. It was very comfortable with plenty of space. I felt safe the entire time. Also a nice feature is that it is BYO. This really is such a unique experience to have in the city, and I can't speak highly enough about it.

I sent an email with questions about our reservation and never received a response. The online booking portal doesn't provide much detail, and while the website has a "Call" option, it wasn't very useful. I received multiple automated reminder emails stressing that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early because race times wouldn't be extended for late arrivals, which is completely understandable. I just wish there had been the same level of attention when it came to responding to customer questions. Once we arrived, the experience was much better. They gave our group a private seating area, which was a nice surprise. Our server was friendly, checked on us periodically, and never pressured us to order food. We chose to have drinks only, and it was nice to relax before and after racing. The simulators were a lot of fun, and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. The only thing to know is that the races move quickly--you only have about two minutes between sessions to switch drivers, so there's not much time to explore the venue or step away without paying attention to when you're up next. Overall, it was a fun and unique way to celebrate a birthday. We'd definitely come back, although probably as a special once-a-year outing because of the cost. If F1 Arcade improved its communication before events, this easily could have been a five-star experience.

Fun experience, but definitely on the pricey side for the amount of actual racing you get…read more F1 Arcade is a pretty cool F1 racing simulation where you get to drive an F1-style race car on various real F1 tracks. The simulators do a good job of making you feel like you're actually racing--the seat moves and rumbles as you go around the track, accelerate, brake, and presumably make questionable racing decisions. One warning: if you get motion sickness easily, this might not be the activity for you. Between the moving seat and the racing visuals, your brain may start wondering why your body is sitting still while your car is doing 200 mph. The place itself is huge, with 40+ simulators. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised by how empty it was. They also have a bar and serve food, but we were there strictly for the racing. We had a party of 4, so we did the team racing option and were given two simulators. Each of us got three races, and the system paired us up differently for each race, so everyone got a chance to race against everyone else. That part was actually pretty fun and made it feel more competitive. The downside is that the races are REALLY short--about 3 minutes each. So for roughly $30 per person, we each got only about 10 minutes of actual racing time across the three races. Once you factor in getting everyone set up and waiting between races, our entire visit was under an hour. The staff was friendly and did a good job explaining how the simulators work and how to check when your next race was starting, so the whole process was pretty easy. Overall, this was a fun experience, especially if you're an F1 fan or enjoy racing games. The simulators are definitely more immersive than playing a racing game at home. That said, the price is hard to overlook considering how little actual driving time you get. We had a good time, but at around $30 per person for about 10 minutes of racing, this is probably a "do it once for the experience" kind of activity rather than something we'd do regularly.

A true Philly gem!…read more I came here with 2 of my nieces and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were greeted at the door and then taken to our table. As I took in the sights of the establishment, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and the decor was minimalistic while the table setting was luxurious yet refined. Oh, and the music that was playing set the tone perfectly. Because you select your service (and pay for it) when you make your reservation, there was not much that was required of the staff however, our waitress Tayla, brought some samples of tea to our table for us to smell, which helped each of us to decide on our tea. I ordered the Afropunk, one of my niece's ordered the Lemon Ginger and the other ordered something that had "pureè" in the name; I did have a little taste of each and enjoyed them all but the Afropunk was my fave. The light fare that was served was surprisingly filling - I enjoyed all of what I ate and I ate EVERYTHING. My nieces ate everything also but they didn't care much for 2 items that were served. I purchased The Baring - High Tea for us, which was a 90 minute experience and the timing was perfect... By the way, the location of the salon is perfect and parking was easy to find. I had the Ginger Lemon Roibois Tea, My companions had the Wakanda Tea and the Kenyan Black Tea. We arrived early for the 1 pm Seating. Upon entry the tables were prepared with the cotted cream and lemon clotted cream. This accompanied the chocolate chip scone that they said what just freshly baked. They also offered us infused rosemary water. All of the setting was adorable. The little cup the honey came in and thr Tea timer were very nice accents. When the Baring High Tea selections arrived we got a nice variety. I agree with a previous reviewer who thought the curry chicken sandwich would have been better if it was hot and not cold. However, the other savory items tasted good. This included the turkey brie on bread and deviled eggs. The sweet treat spread included brownie, bread budding, lemon tart with a blueberry, pound cake loaf flavored treat with strawberry garnish. A very nice high tea experience and great service.
