I remember going on a bike ride with a friend and this happened to be the day after I had a huge argument with my girlfriend, he suggested to call up a flower shop and send some roses, yeah cheesy, but it got the job done. He told me of Josephine's as he worked a few doors down at one time, so I called up the directories and got their number. When I called them up, there was a lovely voice on the other side of the line, I told her that I just had an argument with my partner and wanted to send her a some flowers. She gave me a few options that weren't exactly on the cheap side, but flowers aren't cheap. On top of that, I wanted them delivered. All in all I had a dozen roses sent for over £40, I asked to have them delivered at 3pm, and guess what, they were right on the dot! A great service. They also cater for weddings and all other event and I am absolutely sure that they must be brilliant. I have driven and walked passed it on many occasions and it is lovely in there.

She often has a theme and alongside the gorgeous bouquets there's sometimes local artists work exhibited, which is a nice idea, as you can buy your flowers and a proper gift at the same time. She has a lovely variation of blooms/plants and a real eye for colour, so when I asked for a bouquet to be made up (with the only request that there wasn't any tropical foliage) I wasn't disappointed. They were even wrapped up magnificently, which is half the key to a good bunch of flowers, and they were so fresh I didn't have to pick any discoloured leaves or flowers off, that I've often had to do with other retailers. The prices are very reasonable too and much cheaper then Interflorer. Jennie's has a real passion for flowers and all the bouquets I've bought have each looked very special.

Flowers are good quality, arrangements striking and contemporary. However…read more.. Small bunches are never priced, so you end up having to ask staff each time you lift a bunch. Thereafter, staff view you with snobby disdain and then do the best to ignore you while the crouch end luvvy gets all the attention, presumably because they're more likely to spend a wad on an arrangement, whilst you- the pleb - are wasting their time. Third time in here and the same response, so much so that I felt its time to post a review.
