I saw Jennie Mann flowers exhibited at Shoreditch House and loved their hand tied English garden herb bouquet. So much, that I decided to order one for my wedding at £55, spending more than I'd originally planned and using a different supplier than my usual in Old St.
We discussed the bouquet and I left with it written on a card for me and just had to call and pay by credit card the next day, which I did.
The day before my wedding I had two calls with them to confirm the colour hues and the flowers. Despite this, on the day of my wedding, the bouquet turned up completely lilac and purple instead of in the creams and pinks we'd discussed three times...only fit for a grandmother.
When I called they were extremely rude and sent me a replacement bouquet that was much smaller than the original and still missing all the lavender, mint, and other flowers I'd originally ordered. They seemed annoyed it was for a wedding and I hadn't told them but as my wedding was simple and I didn't need a formal arrangement.
Friends at the event commented that it was tiny for £55. I should have stick with the London florist shop from Old St station who did our house arrangements for the day beautifully and much much cheaper and wasn't so rude to boot.
We definately deserve at least a £30 refund for spoiling our day and forgetting that at the end of the day, we are paying customers.
I wouldn't recommend them which is such as shame considering the original bunch seen at shoreditch house was so lovely - shame about the snobby attitude. read more
