They had some of the most unique plants I have seen and not likely to see at Lowe's, Home Depot or Pikes. One such plant was the stone crop "Lemon Ball" which is has great texture and would make a great ground cover for open areas. It tends to be a bit aggressive so you don't want it close to beds or contained areas. When looking at a plant that hasn't bloomed yet, make sure that you know what the plant looks like when it blooms because you may no longer like it. I loved the Abelia Grandiflora until I saw a picture of it in bloom and realized I did not like the blooms, just the leaves. Next! I would love to visit this nursery and see some of their vegetable plants. I love Swiss Chard and it is not always easy to find fresh options in the grocery store so I am interested in growing some myself to see how they might turn out. . When buying plants, it is always important to read the little planter stick so that you will know the specific characteristics of the plant to determine if it is appropriate for your garden. Sometimes, I am still unsure so I take a photo of the plant and tag, do the research and make sure that it is exactly what I want. This will save you time and frustration. This nursery is now conveniently located on Highway 53 in Dawsonville.

If you need any kind of help figuring out what stone or weight they will work with you. They will sell rocks & stone pennies to the pound for those small step or path projects. Pick from their loose pallets or purchase a ton to be loaded into your pickup or trailer. My only suggestion for them is, "why not put in a scale when approaching the yard. This: The first number on the scale is the gross weight of the box, bucket, or truck with all the stone. The tare weight is also displayed, which reflects the weight of the container or vehicle holding the material. When the tare weight is subtracted from the gross weight, you wind up with the net weight.

Their prices are better than the big chain stores, and they always are well-staffed with friendly, knowledgeable associates. The owners are dishonest. They stated they would pay my family back our deposit for my June 2015…read morewedding if they booked that day. They never told us about the wedding they ended up booking; we found out about the wedding and they refused to talk to us much less refund us what they said they would. My parents took them to small claims court and won the case, and they still won't pay. If they had just told us that we could not have our deposit back, we would have made it work. But they chose to get an extra pay day instead. I would not want to have such uncaring, dishonest people in charge of such a special day in my life. And you can see from other reviews that this is a part of how they make a living. I hope I saved someone some stress and disappointment by finally posting our experience.
