The selection was unbelievable and the staff was super helpful, the woman Dinaray who took care of us knew it was a special moment, helped my wife look thru 30 bags, offered us Juice or Champagne and made some recommendations. Her help was really appreciated when it came to the duty paperwork in order to receive the prepaid duty back from the government. 5 stars all the way. Dinaray gift wrapped the bag and went out of her way to make the moment special. If you are in the market for a bag, my suggestion is to purchase it overseas, my wife estimates that I saved approximately $500. The selection in Cannes was at least 3 times as large in comparison to the location in St. Tropez. We didn't visit one of the Paris locations due to weather and time constraints while in Paris. The prices and selection were much better than their store in Venice Italy.

The shop clerk didn't bother to inform me about tax refund, like they do everywhere in the world, although he knew I was a tourist. The next day I was told by the manager it was too late for that though I spent around 1,000 euro. My friend had same in Sephora and they cancelled transaction and entered it again, so she could get tax refund paperwork. I spoke to the owner who wasn't willing to do anything about it and told me bluntly I could write bad reviews anywhere I wish as he couldn't care less. At the same time the clerk in question was lying through his teeth that he told me about tax free but I didnt have passport on me. Most of perfumes are at least 20-30% more expensive than anywhere else, and service and afterservice is 100% worse.

Unethical business. Felt racially profiled. The saleswoman clearly did not want me in her store…read more I am polite, dressed, speak French and was looking to purchase Mephisto sandals. After approximately 20 minutes and trying on at most 2 pairs, I purchased one pair. The saleswoman was cold, snappish, abrasive. She snatched the box back from me for the pair that I did not want. She did not issue an itemized "store receipt." I learned later, to my dismay, that this was deliberate as this is the only way to legally make a return or exchange in France. I returned later in the day to make an exchange with my credit card receipt. She refused the exchange, told me I was crazy and turned away. I am considering writing to Mephisto. I found the same condescending and rude attitude at the Mephisto store 1/2 mile away the day before. Maybe they feel free to treat all foreigners this way? It is awful.
