Luckily, I visited on a weekday because I can only imagine how packed this place gets on the weekends. They had such an amazing selection of beautiful pumpkins, and I wished I could have brought some home with me. They also have a wonderful little market with fresh, healthy, locally sourced products, which was an added bonus. Such a great experience and exactly the kind of pumpkin patch I wish we had back home.

We've never done it before and it was a BLAST! $1 each try so we each did $5. They had a cute area with a little town made of wood and skeletons doing funny things that you could take pics with like a saloon, jail, checkers, and mortuary. We also took a picture of the iconic pumpkin wall that is all over IG. Then we got in line for the donuts. So hot, fresh and cinnamony and cakey! The line moves fast. We also wondered into the grocery area. Really picture perfect fruits and vegetables like if Whole Foods had a farm, this is what it would look like. It's beautiful. This is literally the best farm I've ever been to. I would definitely come back to this one if I'm ever in the area in October again.

There are a multitude of apple varieties to choose from and the honey crisp apple I had was delicious. The farm is huge and had a plethora of trees to pick from. They also have a cute farm stand where you can buy pre picked apples, corn, apple cider, etc. They also have pick your own raspberries and peaches but we didn't go at the right time of year for those. This is a highly recommended destination!

The apples were great quality and were delicious to eat and bake with later in the week. We parked a little far out from the entrance based on how busy it was (Sunday afternoon), but it was an easy walk. A lot of the apples that were ready to be picked and of good quality were at the top of the trees. I wish they offered ladders or picker tools to allow people to get good apples that can't be reached otherwise. Also, they had run out of apple cider donuts, which was a shame. We got some apple cider and fresh raspberries to take home, which were also both delicious. I would definitely pick our own raspberries next year if we return. We would definitely go back for a fun Fall activity each year!

This farm is absolutely amazing! It was well worth the drive from Chatham with our baby to visit…read morethe animals, see the beautiful scenery, and enjoy the Farmer's Market. There are even toy Spaghetti dolls available for just $10, which is a bargain! We didn't venture down the boardwalk, since we have a stroller and didn't want to inconvenience people (although other people had strollers on the walkway) but from what we could see, the sight was unbelievable. Yes, the area with animals is smallish, but for a 17th century farm that runs on donations and volunteers, it's extremely tidy, incredibly well kept, and charming. While it's not a "petting zoo," where you can feed animals, I appreciate that the farm isn't exploiting their animals and allowing people to over feed them with pellets. In our opinion, the fact that the animals are respected and fed quality diets makes the experience richer, and teaches children and adults to appreciate the beauty of nature and animals for what they are. My husband wasn't keen on driving early on a Sunday morning, but he has not stopped gushing over how wonderful it was. We recommend visiting to see it for yourself! Also, there's TONS of parking.

This place has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. Not only do they have amazing farm fresh…read more(literally) offerings for pickup or delivery, they also have COVID safe activities for my kids! Hallelujah. Petting farm: Anytime, you can drive here and feed the goats, pet the cow, maybe a pig or two if you're brave. There's a box to pay for feed and it's self serve. My little one enjoys this SO much, and it's all outside. They even have a hand washing station outside. Goat hike - with baby goats! This was so fun, we did it twice. Once with a regular adult goat on a leash (wouldn't recommend if you have little little ones as the goats like to pull and my toddler couldn't keep up) and once with a baby goat that you hold. I highly recommend the baby goat hike! They are so freaking cute and cuddly and warm. It's like therapy and exercise all at the same time. And who doesn't need that now. The hike is really easy physically, and you get to learn about the farm and see other animals. My toddler loved the hike with the baby goat, especially the hot chocolate at the end made with milk from the cows on the farm. It was DELICIOUS. Baby goat cuddle: If you're lucky enough to be in Newport when the baby goats arrive, this is the cutest, sweetest activity. I've done it 3 times with my toddler and have never been disappointed. You get to go into their barn (huge open doors on one end for air flow, plus masks required, so super safe) and you're surrounded by baby goats! My toddler was so so excited. TL;DR: HIGHLY recommend this farm!

I have now been on two goat walks here, and I would say it it is probably different every time. Of course, we made it on the last night...Labor Day weekend (Friday), we were able to make it part of a trip to Marshfield so it was great. We made the trip....traffic was not to bad, which was a huge bonus. Upon arrival, we noticed that it was a very busy night at Langwater...tons of cars parked in the front of the farm in an orderly fashion. We were lucky enough to get a spot near the entry and make our way to the Farm. Immediately, we saw two lines....one for pizza and one for drinks (at the bar). The lines moved quickly. The stafff at Langwater has a real great process of getting each order in and moving on to the next customer. Obviously, they have done this before! The pizza that we ordered as "excellent". The wood-fired ovens were roaring and pumping pizza's out quickly! The bartenders at the bar were just as quick. Plenty of help and everyone moving through the drink line was awesome to see. Music was being played with hundreds of families and friends laying around on their blankets and beach chairs, which made everyone happy and the vibe relaxed! I would love to come back here when the farmstand is open and to try some chicken wings and ice cream....which I decided not to try this visit. I am guessing they have a lot of delicious items for sale! Price: very fair Crowd: very busy Vibe: Family ....easy going Service: awesome Will we be back? : For sure
