If you are considering moving into a community managed by CME Management Group, be warned. My…read morefamily's experience has been a nightmare of unprofessionalism and targeted harassment. The "Management" Culture: Internal emails from CME staff are appalling. After identifying myself as the homeowner's husband, an assistant manager (Irene Fernandez) sent an internal email stating, "This guy claims to be her husband," and noted she was withholding that information from other staff. Instead of performing basic due diligence or asking for a marriage certificate--which we have --they chose to gossip and treat a resident's family like a suspicious intruder. Selective Enforcement & Legal Liability: We have documented proof of blatant selective enforcement. My vehicle is repeatedly targeted and cited for "illegal" street parking, while other vehicles (specifically a Nissan Versa) park in the exact same spots for days with zero tickets. Florida law (White Egret Condominium, Inc. v. Franklin) is very clear: an Association cannot selectively enforce rules against one resident while ignoring them for others. Property Damage & Zero Accountability: It gets worse. On Jan 1, 2026, we followed management's "instructions" on where to park. By the next morning, the car had been hit and scratched. Despite two security cameras on the management office pointing directly at the vehicle, management has gone silent rather than providing the footage to identify the culprit. The Result: Rather than finding a solution, Cathy Rooney and her team have escalated a simple parking matter into a legal dispute involving property damage and discriminatory conduct. They have now retreated behind their attorney rather than addressing their own staff's unprofessionalism and the damages they caused. Prospective Homeowners/Boards: Look elsewhere. This management group is a liability to any community they touch.

I want to share how my friend (21 years old ) and I (22 years old) pool day start…read more A older man who is supposed to be security for the community decided my friend not who forgot her cover up deserved to be screamed at to put a cover on. However, I was raised to speak with women with respect so I respectfully said hey you don't need to yell that's my friend she just can't hear you I can call her. He decided to start raising his voice and even got out of his car and confronted me from the very spot I didn't move from and got into my face. Continued to yell at my friend who is now is crying I told him again to no need to yell. I asked for his boss which he stated he was and no one else was available. I asked for a HOA board member ignored one of the residents and started to side with the security guard who was yelling over them. Never once did the security guard stop yelling while we are being told to be quiet. After telling my friend to call her mom so we can have an adult present the guard then yells at her for lying to her mother who is on the phone. Then once I ask him to leave us alone I decide to walk back to the car and wait and the security guard and board member said. " you see him, you see what he's about right? Yes I can see what he's about. I'm a 22 year old Puerto Rican With a Tan. If you live here or think about it you should be very careful of these two men who's names wouldn't be given.

Today, I stopped by GRS Property Management fully prepared for the usual HOA experience: attitude,…read morebureaucracy, and a strong sense of "please take a number and lower your expectations." Instead... plot twist. I was pleasantly surprised by the receptionist, Farhana, who greeted me with a huge smile and was genuinely a pleasure to deal with. She didn't just point me toward a stack of paperwork and wish me luck; she immediately involved Connie Angrisani to review my application and check whether any documents were missing, so the approval process would go smoothly. Both of them were extremely helpful and, even more shocking, genuinely wanted to help. No eye rolls, no sighs, no "that's not my department." Just professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. This is absolutely not what I'm used to when dealing with property management ... and I mean that in the best possible way. Well done, GRS. You've officially raised the bar.

This company is the worst. We've been here for approximately six weeks and nobody has come to our rescue with anything. If it was up to me, I would fire everybody in that company and we hired a competent people. It's a shame that 55 and older people have to go through this since we are an adult community. Instead of spending our days relaxing we are doing nothing but becoming more and more aggravated to this day no one has helped us with any issues that we have. horrible experience since we have moved in. stay away from this company. PS they still can't figure out what our HOA fees are.
