This company doesn't do sh*t to manage properties! They can't do anything without the owners…read morepermission and the owners don't do sh*t! So I'm stuck with unmaintained property next to me! I've had multiple incidents such has a large tree trunk that fell onto the property blocking road access and winter maintenance unkept so I can't get my vehicle through! Also they hired a crew to do a job which damaged my property! I could go on and on, but the point of a property management is to manage the property and these guys do below the bare minimum if any management at all! F**k your company! You aren't worth sh*t!

They did NOTHING about the ILLEGAL MEXICANS we had to live next door to, that also rented from Logan Preferred! We got out of a year lease and paid month to month the last year and a half, gave them WELL OVER 30 days notice of us moving out because we finally closed on our house.. had to get out of work early and drive an hour out of our way to go sign our paperwork to move out. THEY CLOSED THE OFFICE 20 MIN EARLY!! (I KNOW, WTF) - especially after calling earlier that day to make sure they'd be open till 6 cuz i'd be cutting it close and knew the USU/BYU game would make hella traffic! Anyways! - we called the next morning (Saturday morning) asking if we needed to come in to sign. (We were already moved out.. and ACTUALLY HOMELESS! (Had to fix the furnace and stuff in the house we bought to make it live-able) so we were crashing on our in-law's couch for that week. But yeah they said to not worry about making a trip over just to sign and to come when we were in town, which wasn't till ~2 weeks later. When we made it over to sign we were going to back-date, but they told us not to and that it was fine that we just use the actual date. We paid off our total balance too. So yeah then a month later when we were expecting to get our deposit back we call to give them our new mailing address and they HAVE NO RECORD OF US MOVING OUT!? WTF!?!?!?!!! So long story short - don't make the same mistake we did at trusting these manipulative, sneaky, lying, deceiptful people!! We're STILL trying to figure out how to resolve this! And it's been 3 months!! GRRR!!!

TLDR: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU'VE GOT OTHER OPTIONS…read more My wife and I moved in here after we were married, it seemed like a decent place. But there were a few things we were pretty unhappy with. There was black mold on our windowsills, and the ventilation in the apartment was abysmal (hence the black mold). So even when we tried to clean it, the mold would just come back in a week. And this is in the middle of winter, so unless we wanted crazy heating bills we couldn't open the windows for a few hours every day to help ventilate. Maintenance was decent at responding to requests we but in, but the appliances in the apartment were terrible. We stopped using our dishwasher because it was so bad. The dryer had an oil leak or something and stained our clothes. When we had some strong rain our window literally started leaking. So many weird fees that just seem like upcharges. We spent hours cleaning our apartment when we moved out. They took about $500 out of our security deposit for some paint touch ups, drip pans, and a bunch more fees. For the price of these apts (our rent was advertised as $1350 base, but with all the extra fees and stuff was closer to $1550-1600 a month for a 2 bed 2 bath) it's definitely a no from me. There's places that are better than here. The only reason it's not a 1 star is because the front desk and maintenance were responsive and did the best they could.

After a year they send debt collect letter. Keep on charging but not even staying one day there. We talk to the office everything ok. After a year Legancy Apartment send bill through debt collector law office. What should be done. Who think this is right. We pay for all they try to collact. We are ok. We just don't want this happen to others people. Sometime business can be cruel to other. Don't get back in return. Thank you.

The master bedroom (3 room townhouse) is big enough to fit a king size bed and my home office. I have loved it enough to trust telling my oldest daughter how great it is. She now rents here as well and tells me that she is glad she did. Thank you for an amazing experience.

She showed us our new place and ran off right when we opened the door. We could smell smoke and then when we went to talk to Shelly she denied it for a while and then told us the previous tenants smoked. We had to clean that place from floor to ceiling. Her answer was to open the windows and she couldn't do anything else. Also, when I tried talking to her about how dirty it was she responded "you are being too picky and you're welcome to leave". So I stopped dealing with her. My husband had to and she was even rude to him. Now fast forward 9 months. I had just had my baby and two days after we brought him home from the nicu they left a note on the door saying pay a fine of $250 or you will be evicted in 3 days for not picking up our dogs poop. I went to talk to her and she was again ridiculous. She said she had proof after I told her we always pick up after our dogs. So she showed me a picture and it wasn't even of our dog! She argued with my husband and I saying it was which is sooooo confusing because I think we would know our dog! It was a neighbors dog that had the exact collar on that was in the picture! Then she came to our townhouse and continued to yell at me (my parents were there and were completely shocked that she was the manager) and ended the conversation with threatening me! A manger of the place we lived THREATENED ME!! And it was right next to my newborn son! Fast forward a few more months when we were trying to sell our contract. We found several people that wanted it and Shelly said she had to do the paperwork and to send them to the office. She signed one of the many people we sent over. This person signed the lease so we thought we were good to go. We packed everything to be out by the move in date. Then we get a call saying she was being too difficult and Shelly let her out of the contract. We then had to pay for the cleaners to come... what was the buy out for then? She then said she would find someone to take over the lease. I think it was 10-15 days later that she found someone and made us pay for the rent until that date! How was that our responsibility when we had a tenant already that signed the contract! If Shelly lets her out of the contract then that shouldn't be on us! Like I said this was the worst experience we've had! If one of our friends asked I would say to stay far far away from Logan Landing because of Shelly!

Lived here for four years and definitely one of the most convenient places to live. Have private…read morerooms, full kitchen, clubhouse, laundry, and bus stop to campus. Maintenance crew is quick when there's a problem and the community is awesome. Internet is spotty and isn't always the best, but you can still get by. The main reason for the low review is working with management. It is almost impossible to get in touch with the office without going in person, and when you do go in person they are either closed, it's holiday, or they are out to lunch. Cleaning checks are a joke and you will get huge fines on the smallest things, despite having them cleaned in preparation for checks. You will get charged for damages that have been there for years (again I've been here for four years in the same room and been charged for things already reported as damaged - multiple times). Their online system for leasing and paying rent is never organized. I've had "late charges" applied to my online account for no reason and when inquiring the office about it, just been told "don't worry about it, your account is up to date" only to be charged the lump sum at the end of the year. Sometimes the website has been down and I've had to call 4 and 5 times to pay rent, wait on the phone forever for a representative to pick up from their corporate calling system saying "we'll call you back" with no return call or response and only to find out I've been overcharged. Another time I went to the office to renew my lease and to double check my information was correct, they couldn't find my files and when they did for my room and year, it was all the wrong information. Great place to live but seriously poor management. Poor organization. After five months, they still haven't got the correct rent as signed in my lease and it is now habit to have to call the office, verify my previous receipts, and ask them again to update their records to no avail. Unfriendly to work with. It has been four years and nothing has changed. The community and amenities are the reason I stay.
