Parking lot is never cleared of snow when I need to go to class at 8am, and when it is, there's still at least 1-2 inches left behind - sometimes 3! For a wheelchair user, this is no good. I got stuck a lot just trying to get to my car 100 feet away. Hopefully I will never have to stay here again.

For $360/week they have their own apartment (student housing) which offers them four beds with huge matching bathrooms in each room. The apartment offers comfortable living and all the amenities one might need. They're also very clean and easy to access and navigate. I'd say the entire apartment is about 1K sq feet and they lucked out by getting a 4th floor with a view of the mountains. They're also just a few steps from the free W&D and since there are three of each, there is rarely a wait. They need to provide everything as if they were really living there but the best part is that Utah State keeps their stuff for the following year at no charge! They have two restaurants onsite, getting your mail is easy and since it's student housing, the entertainment center (pool table, pinball etc.) is easily accessible but the hours are a bit strange.

It's right across the street from USU, and because it's up on a hill, the views are great. Many student apartments were much older and looked worn down. 800 Block is newer. It has an open floor plan and updated appliances. Apartments have two dishwashers and two refrigerators. It's nice to have covered parking. There's also a large game room, areas for student study, bbq grills, and a hot tub. As for customer service, the staff is right on top of any problem. The front desk staff is always willing to help or find someone who can help. This is my second summer here.

800 block is hands down the worst apartment I have lived in. When I originally signed a lease they…read morepromised me (f) and my friend (m) that we could be in the same apartment together. They even gave us a tour and showed us the exact room that we would move into. Around two months after we signed, they reached out to him only and told him that they could not fill a coed apartment. They moved me into a different room (without telling me) in which I would have to share a bathroom despite the fact that I had originally signed for a private room with a private bathroom. I requested that they move me to a different apartment so I could have my own bathroom and they told me that the only room they could move me into was coed. This made absolutely no sense considering they told my friend that they couldn't fill coed rooms and we could no longer live together, but I agreed. When I moved into my apartment the door handle was broken. I could not shut my bedroom door at all. Eventually I requested to move rooms again so that I could actually close my door. It took a month to plan where I would move, and they fixed my door the day I moved rooms. In my new room I was woken up early in the morning by maintenance. They gave me no warning that they would be coming and they told me that I had to move everything out of my bathroom if I didn't want sheet rock on it. They gave me about 5 minutes before I was told I needed to leave so they could cut a hole in my ceiling because construction workers had dropped a screwdriver in the pipes, causing them to be backed up. The smell in my room was atrocious until they finished covering up/painting they hole they created. Once you move in it is obvious that the apartments were cheaply made and rushed. The staff has always been kind to me, but their communication is lacking. They will tell you to move out of your apartment with little to no notice. 800 block's parking is absolutely awful. It is narrow, expensive, and the pipes leak more often than not. There was only one custodian and maintenance that I know of and the buildings were often dirty. So many negative things occurred while I lived here, I'm sure I probably forgot some details. The only good thing about 800 Block is its proximity to campus. Do yourself a favor and look into every other housing option. My photos show the parking garage, the elevator doors on the inside, and my bathroom while they worked on it.

They also have classes you can take everyday. My favorites are High, kickboxing, Zumba, and cycle. They help you with a good sweat. I have attached a schedule of the 2019 fitness classes.

I had to peel of he tour a little early due to an ankle injury but I only missed a little bit. We really really enjoyed the tour! What a nice campus! Afterwards we watched a little bit more video, listened to some final information and then the entire group was treated to a free lunch in one their on campus dining halls! This school is one of the finest schools in the western US! Research and development in the agricultural field has earned the USU a spot on the ISS growing things! If you live in California you might know that USU had engineering people responsible for fixing the Oroville Dam before it had a chance to ruin many lives. That's right! USU engineers! If you look at college rankings, this school passes the test with flying colors. We knew that before we came here today so expectations were off the charts. Our expectations have been exceeded and my wife and I feel extremely confident about our son's choice. AFROTC detachment 086 is here with a highly respected program which fits right into my son's master plan to fly extremely large aircraft for the USAF! Logan Utah? What a sweet city! Wife and I love looking at real estate and Logan has a lot of nice areas to live. USU! I didn't know we were going to have a son living here one day, attending Utah State University but that day begins in the fall of 2022! Go Aggies!

This last year, The Factory went through a change in ownership. If you think this will help them get better, it isn't! My son moved in with horrible couches they couldn't even sit on. Then his dryer broke, which neither old or new owner would fix. He even went and got a letter from a lawyer ordering them to fix it, and they still ignored it. Didn't get fixed until 6 months later... Then after the new owners finally took ownership, they proceeded to start "repairs" and painting etc, basically making the entire complex a construction zone with so much stuff in the hallways you can't walk through easily (can I say super large trip hazards?). During this construction, my son and all residents basically had to move all their stuff so they can paint. (side note: they did a crappy job). THEN, since they "planned" on replacing the carpet right away, they let paint completely soil the carpeting. But then the carpets didn't get replaced because, from poor planning on their part, they didn't buy enough. So now my son is living in disgusting carpet. These problems started last November 2024. It is now end of July 2025 and this is how my son had to live all year while managing 18 units and two jobs. Worse of all??? The managers at all levels will not call me back. I've left many messages for them to please call so we can respectfully sort this out, and they refuse. DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS LIVE AT THE FACTORY!!!! The owners and managers don't care about cleanliness, having required amenities working, your students comfort, or inconveniencing them. They will not even respond to calls or lawyers. They are basically scum of the earth. I have never written a review like this. Please head everyone's warnings. Don't fall for their "discount" offers to move in. It's all sugar coated crap.
