Zeda was so professional and explained everything from the start and during the process, I felt so relaxed and comfortable and in safe hands. They don't even lie paper towels down on the bed (gross) and give you a plastic pillow. I'm no princess, but I've never seen anything like this before and I've had nearly 100 waxes. I have a high tolerance for pain, I really don't mind it. But it felt like this woman was ripping my skin off. She had absolutely no empathy in that she didn't pause or put pressure on the spot just waxed, it was just rip rip rip. She clearly took no pride in her work and just wanted to get it done fast. She didn't tweeze at all after waxing. I mean, there's still hair there and it's not like just one or two. I'm literally appalled at the experience I just had. I can't believe I paid them. I had to buy myself a chocolate croissant to make me feel better. Never, ever go here. For anything.

The room I was in was spotless, very neat and tidy; not dirty at all. My piercer explained everything she was going to do, the positioning and also extra after care about my stretcher. I can walk off the street on an impulse and not have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Obviously what they specialise in here is eyebrows, but they offer a range of other services too - full face threading, henna tattooing and eyelash and eyebrow dyeing to mention a few. There are often bundled specials too that help you save a bit of cash here and there. And if you get a loyalty card every 10th treatment is free! If you've never had your eyebrows threaded before, basically the stylist uses a cotton thread held in her teeth to wrap around the hairs and pull them out. I'm not going to lie - it does hurt! But I don't think it is any worse than waxing, and the results definitely last longer. They are also able to be more precise as it can target individual hairs. The stylist I usually see is great. She makes sure to discuss what you want before she starts, talking about shape and colour options. She also will recommend the right products to use if you need them (they sell a small range in house) and she is very efficient. I actually look forward to my treatments despite the pain as I always come out feeling and looking great!

The store was quite empty and I now can see why. When I came in, there was no welcome. I was about to get my tattoo done and then another customer came in, and she got immediately served! I waited another 15 mins. The customers eyebrows did look very nice so I was expecting very high of them. I chose my design, and then we negotiated a price: $35 for this tiny design! She told me she would make the design big to make it worth my money but she didn't. It was tiny! And worst of all, the henna looked like a toddler for hold of a crayon and drawn all over my leg! It looked horrible, I hate it! And because it lasts for 3 weeks, I have to keep explaining to everyone about my henna. People keep saying to me " what happened to your leg, it looks really bad!" And I tell them my story. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. Go to iBrow studio in the David jones centre for better value. Unless you want to waste your money on a pile of **** on your body, go elsewhere for a henna.

Have been here multiple times and each time has been an awful experience…read more From the time, I was getting a XX wax, and the lady had me spread both my legs kept open the whole time (whereas everywhere else I've ever gone to get this wax done, does one leg at a time), this was awkward enough, until she asked if she could have a newer employee come in to practice the wax, (which originally I was like yeah no worries, this means the wax will be finished sooner...) but no, she stood at the end of bed thing watching the other lady wax, whilst I lay there very awkwardly. I did end up asking for her to leave as I was way too uncomfortable. Or the more recent time, that directly after getting a leg wax, the lady says she's going to wipe the bed. I asked, if she could leave the room and just wait for me to get dressed first, but she rudely came back saying, she's just going to quickly wipe the bed. So I stood behind her, with a towel wrapped around me literally waiting for her to finish cleaning the bed. The overall atmosphere of the place is awful as well, as another reviewer said it's cold and unwelcoming.

And I can highly recommend Jess, my current beauty therapist, she is very friendly and spends time looking at my skin and adjusting the treatment where needed.

The Aveda tea they serve is delicious and one of my favourite little value-adds that come with getting my hair done here.
