Dr specifically scheduled me for a follow up yearly vision exam the following month (April 2025). They asked me for my health insurance card again, but never asked me for my VSP. I questioned them, and was told, "We ask for that at every visit; it's the way we do things here." Then they told me it was a $50 co-pay for a "wellness" appointment. Told them this was for a regular vision exam, which is covered by my insurance for 1x each year. They said they perform a wellness exam on every visit. Said my VSP insurance was only for lenses and frames. THAT IS A LIE. I've had VSP for years. I told them to give me my paycard and I left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Questionable business practices. My sister went to their office in Danville the very next day. Same insurance as me; they did not charge her for a wellness, as her vision insurance covered the vision exam. Make it make sense.

The woman who answered the phone was very helpful, kind and professional. She listened to my ideas, color requests and was very accommodating of my request for "non funeral" arrangement of fresh flowers in my aunt's favorite colors.
