I did not make a decision that day, My insurance does not pay for a root canal, Insurance only pays on cleanings twice a year and I have a small balance on those which I always pay. was told a "root canal" was around $1300.00. I finally decided to have this done. No one ever mentioned it was a crown. made apt. to have the "root canal". Paid almost $1800.00 for whatever it was supposed to be. when I later went in for a cleaning and the lady pulled up my record I saw it said Crown, to which I stated I thought I had a root canal. The dental assistant left the room immediately and got Dr. White, who came in, never said hello, just blurted out Mrs. G. "I do not lie" to which I said and "neither do I", that crown was never mentioned. He was very aggravated and so was I with his attitude. He told me he would just send me back to Dr. Payne, but good luck because he was going to retire in June. He left the room and the dental assistant performed the cleaning. The usual practice is for the dentist to come back in when the cleaning is done, which Dr. White never did. When I left and checked out at the desk, told the lady there to send to my insurance co, to which she replied "There is no charge for today". They billed my insurance and were paid and the balance I had to pay was $56.00. So much for "no charge for today". I will not be going back to Danville Dental. I like Jenny, but this dentist was very unprofessional and has a very bad bedside manner. He could have handled the situation in a more professional manner. I will be cancelling my apt. for a cleaning set for April.

I pay bills on time. My credit rating is over 800. I didn't get that great credit rating by being sloppy with bill paying. One day I got a letter saying that they had sent my account to a credit agency. WHAT? When I called them, they said it was a "mistake". Well, no $#i+, Sherlock. This wasn't your first mistake. I'm not going to risk my credit rating on these math-challenged clowns. The quality of dentistry just isn't that good. Time to find another dental practice.
