I was informed that someone had called & left me a message letting me know the appointment time had been changed. Yet I never received the message - the phone calls came in as hang ups. I even called the office back inquiring about missed phone calls - it's been 24 hours & I still haven't heard from anyone. So anyway we show up for our appt, the new time doesn't work for us & I'm told we have to wait another 5 months for an appt - yet there was only 1 person in the waiting room & NO cars in the parking lot. I can't recommend this practice - I work for a doctors office as well & we would never change an appt time unless the patient agreed to it. Obviously Danville Dental does not need any patients I had to add a star review so this would post but I wouldn't even give them a one star rating. They are a big round zero in my book!

The female doctor Dr. Pat. didn't respond to me until 10:56 pm Sat night to tell me she did not have access to call in prescriptions earlier in the day and that she had called me in some antibiotics to help with the pain. Ummm no pharmacies are open on Sunday so I could not even get the antibiotics. NO pain medications were called in, and I had been taking 800mg of Motrin and Tylenol together. In addition, she asked me what I did for a living and I told her I was a RN. Not long after that she had a girl come in and try to talk me into looking into dental implants. I told her I would like to see how much they would cost and she brought me back a piece of paper that had a quote of $35,000 dollars. She also charges $348.00 dollars to pull one tooth. They do not care about their patients and are only looking to see how much profit they can make.

Dr Hayes said I had a couple cavities (one being on a tooth with an existing filling). He didn't want a weak tooth so he suggested put a crown on one tooth and fill the other. I did as he said. I could not chew on my right side (where the work was done) from the second I left for 3 months! I went back several times thinking the bite was off causing sharp pain but it remained. They realized my tooth was cracked. They set me up to see an endodontist but said they would call me before I went to see if there was something they could do about it because it was apparently cracked during the cap. Never got a call. Went to the endo, had a ROOT CANAL, pain is now gone but I am now seeing that my filling is messed up as well and another dentist is having to redo it. I also have pain on my left side because that's all I could use for months. My new dentist told me they try to reimburse their patients that have to seek an endodontist after their work so I asked that of Dr Hayes office. I was told I would get a call back. .....I guess this will be like the call before my appt that still has yet to happen because we are going on 2 weeks waiting for a call.

I did not make a decision that day, My insurance does not pay for a root canal, Insurance only pays on cleanings twice a year and I have a small balance on those which I always pay. was told a "root canal" was around $1300.00. I finally decided to have this done. No one ever mentioned it was a crown. made apt. to have the "root canal". Paid almost $1800.00 for whatever it was supposed to be. when I later went in for a cleaning and the lady pulled up my record I saw it said Crown, to which I stated I thought I had a root canal. The dental assistant left the room immediately and got Dr. White, who came in, never said hello, just blurted out Mrs. G. "I do not lie" to which I said and "neither do I", that crown was never mentioned. He was very aggravated and so was I with his attitude. He told me he would just send me back to Dr. Payne, but good luck because he was going to retire in June. He left the room and the dental assistant performed the cleaning. The usual practice is for the dentist to come back in when the cleaning is done, which Dr. White never did. When I left and checked out at the desk, told the lady there to send to my insurance co, to which she replied "There is no charge for today". They billed my insurance and were paid and the balance I had to pay was $56.00. So much for "no charge for today". I will not be going back to Danville Dental. I like Jenny, but this dentist was very unprofessional and has a very bad bedside manner. He could have handled the situation in a more professional manner. I will be cancelling my apt. for a cleaning set for April.

My credit rating is over 800. I didn't get that great credit rating by being sloppy with bill paying. One day I got a letter saying that they had sent my account to a credit agency. WHAT? When I called them, they said it was a "mistake". Well, no $#i+, Sherlock. This wasn't your first mistake. I'm not going to risk my credit rating on these math-challenged clowns.
