Although Dr. Friedrich was phenomenal, the same cannot be said for the staff of the facility…read moreattached to the office (where one is expected to purchase their glasses after their appointment). I was saddened to learn that the headaches I had been having for over six months were the result of my working with a computer, but was relieved when the doctor informed me a different pair of glasses could help. As such, I trusted that the optometric facility attached to his office would be able to handle my needs. They sent off for my new computer glasses in late December and after a few weeks wait, I was thrilled about getting rid of my headaches. Unfortunately upon my receipt of the glasses I discovered two smudges withIN the lenses (which no one could get out with cleaning cloths or cleaning spray) and the frames were sent back for new lenses. I was then informed in February that my glasses had been fixed and I could pick them up. When I returned, the very same type of smudges appeared on the lenses. Again, no one in the facility could get the smudges off. So...they sent them back again. This time when I was called to pick them up, I asked them to take a look at the glasses first before I went all the way down to the office. I was told the lenses were fine. So, in April I went for my third lens replacement. This time they weren't smudged, but there was an obvious nick/spot in one of the lenses. My patience was wearing thin and even the lady who assisted me agreed that there should be some compensation for my time (I had already taken three hours of leave from work at that point). She even wrote the manager a note regarding her belief that this was the case. Even so, when I finally went to pick them up today (Now FOUR MONTHS LATER AND THE FOURTH pair of replacement lenses), I was told by the manager that there was nothing they could do for me aside from giving me the glasses I had paid to receive months before. Needless to say. I am VERY disappointed and will not be returning to purchase anything from their facility. With that said, by all means, visit Dr. Friedrich, but take your prescription and RUN!

Dr specifically scheduled me for a follow up yearly vision exam the following month (April 2025). They asked me for my health insurance card again, but never asked me for my VSP. I questioned them, and was told, "We ask for that at every visit; it's the way we do things here." Then they told me it was a $50 co-pay for a "wellness" appointment. Told them this was for a regular vision exam, which is covered by my insurance for 1x each year. They said they perform a wellness exam on every visit. Said my VSP insurance was only for lenses and frames. THAT IS A LIE. I've had VSP for years. I told them to give me my paycard and I left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Questionable business practices. My sister went to their office in Danville the very next day. Same insurance as me; they did not charge her for a wellness, as her vision insurance covered the vision exam. Make it make sense.

The first pair of glasses I got they lost, although I did get $50 back I still had to wait longer than normal so it wasn't worth it.
