I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I will have pain for the rest of my life unless I workout and stay flexible. Trying to find a personal trainer that I can trust and that wont hurt my injury was like finding a needle in a hay stack. I looked for ways to help myself for years and then through yelp I stumbled across, The Facility! I have been going to The Facility for about 2 months now. I am able to do things I haven't been able to do ever, like squat down (properly and using my legs to stand backup) to give my 4 year a piggyback ride. I am able to give my kids a bath without back pain. I am able to do squats once again and exercise without pain. Through going to The Facility I haven't been able to just do things I wasn't able to do, but I also learned how to exercise. Yes learned how to exercise.... I learned how to properly breathe during an exercise which makes a world of a difference and allows you to get a better workout. I learned how have proper form. Proper form is so important as to not have an injury. My trainer always helps me attain proper form, breathing technique, and makes sure nothing I do hurts my back. The Facility has been the best investment I have made in physical fitness.

The kind of good that inspires and helps you to achieve maximum benefit. My father had been active all his life, but had heart surgery about a year ago. His doctors stressed the importance of working out, but he did not know where to begin and was getting quite sedentary. After doing scrupulous research, I was blessed to find Elie and his team. Since my dad began working with Elie, my father sometimes "forgets" to use his walker. :) His gait, strength, and overall movement are more self-assured and balanced, and he and the rest of the family are overjoyed. He started with once a week and now Elie and his team go to my father's house and work out with him three times a week. I felt welcomed and everyone there were all really cool guys who were extremely knowledgeable and helped me with technique, positoning, they all literally answered every question I had! The only reason I give 4 starts is because there is a 40$ drop in fee which after buying a rash guard to support the gym means 95$ for a class and a souvenir. I'd love to go again but at that price it just is too much for me unfortunately but I would 100% pop in for a class again next time I'm down here!
