What you don't experience is the kind care of the folks who work here. Let's start with CLEAN! Lots of surfaces, lots of wood, and it is all clean and so well maintained. Friendly: the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always available if you need to call the lift or have a question. Rooms are all furnished with an individual style. Breakfast was great! Just let them know when you think you will head to the dining room and then you order off the menu. Everything we had was great and prepared just for us. My husband was particularly fond of the grits, ordering a double portion once he had tried them! Ip really enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast with Blueberry preserves. Location:Um, did I mention it is right in the midst of Winter Garden? Great spot for walking about and exploring. I also enjoyed grabbing a cup of coffee before breakfast and sitting out front near the Winter Garden fountain, so peaceful. They also have a designated parking lot next to the Inn for cars with tags (which you get a checkin). Highly recommend this spot. If you are put off by having separate hot and cold faucets, maybe pass this up, but if you want an experience and a great stay, definitely check it out and check in!

The dedication to bring to life every individual room was amazing. Yes, some of the decorations were worn but it's expected with time. The owners showed up right away when called to fix anything that was broken, not working right or anything we needed. They even delivered ice cream for the party. I would definitely recommend Sweet Escapes. We will return, will also like to check out the other Escapes. Overall, an amazing experience. Thanks Nicole for the invite.

A few issues during our 2 night, 3 day visit: AC didn't work properly, horrible coffee, ice maker in refrigerator didn't work, refrigerator filter was out, we had to pay a cleaning fee but clean up and do laundry before we left. Was a quiet sleep, but I was exhausted from driving so..... The pool was warm, not a way to cool off anywhere on a hot day. Also was told that it was $100/day to use the pool!!!! We didn't pay, but it wasn't advertised as costing more, so..... I probably be back here.

I appreciated that even if we didnt see something we could ask and 9 times out of 10 someone would help us get some of what we needed. The kids loved being able to make their own snack baggies and they had many snacks to choose from. I also loved that their horsdeurves was more of a self-serve and not a bunch of tiny portion of things all the time. One time is was delicious Brisket like what they make downstairs at roaring fork or bits from Whispering Canyon. One thing I particularly loved was that when we visited the beers were on tap and you can serve wine and cordials yourself and didn't have to have someone guarding it all the time. I don't like having ro ask people for things and I am a do it your self kind of gal so it was nice to pour my glass and enjoy what they had to offer. If you like mimosas I recommend not only trying a POGmosa (passion fruit, orange, guava juice), but also try making a mimosa with their Geyser grog. In the evening they have a wonderful view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and they pipe in the music.
