It was beautifully decorated. The only complaint was there was not enough places to store things. I feel that the Disney cruise ship room has more space to store personal belongings than the GF Studio. Being in a Lake view room, I could see the Epcot fireworks, and the electric water parade. I could sit at the balcony and just enjoy everything if I have the time. There is a free laundry room on the 4th floor. I was even offered free laundry detergent! It is about a 5 minute walk from the villa building to the bus stop or monorail station. I hope to be able to stay here again!

There was no Victoria and Alberts on our honeymoon but the property was so close to the Polynesian as well as arriving by monorail to the Magic Kingdom. The Grand Floridian, I've always stated is my personal favorite hotel which prompted us to initially purchase DVC. We've made so many family memories over the years in Disney, my son proposed marriage at The Boardwalk Hotel. 2022, I planned a nice anniversary for my wife, so I booked a stay at The Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Villas. There are no more front desk check ins, everything is now done on the Disney app. I checked into the hotel, opened my room with my phone and made lunch reservations by the time I walked out of the hotel lobby. Once we unpacked our personal items, it was time to explore. I want to point out, we stayed in The Riviera DVC resort in March. The skyline access into EPCOT was amazing. The lobby??? Yeah.. It's a little weak (Still in my top 3 Disney hotels) The GFV lobby is unmatched in terms of hotel lobbies. It is simply magnificent and you're greeted by a live piano playing during the day! At Christmastime, they have the famous Gingerbread House on display along with a freshly cut Christmas tree in the lobby. Sounds amazing right? Staying at the Villas, you'll see none of it. The Villas are a separate wing, when you walk into the DVC lobby, they're building a Penguin fountain for your visual pleasure. It's not the same but DVC is showing you some love with their pretty lobby. They are also building another section that is closer to the pool. The new concept are studios with Murphy beds, they created a larger studio for more people. During our stay, I used all of the Grand Floridian amenities. I booked a couples massage, afterwards we had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, that night walked to the Polynesian to sip cocktails at Trader Sams while watching the fireworks and in the morning I walked over to Kona Island for a coffee press pot. It's a Grand Floridian way of life son! Are you feelin' me Yelper? Here are my top three DVC Disney hotels, I also have a Vero Beach contract, this is my Disney Property list: The Boardwalk (our First DVC Hotel) The Villas At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort The Riviera Animal Kingdom/Wilderness Lodge 4th Don't bother me with Saratoga or OKW! Bay Lake, Copper Creek are still on my list as I have never been. A 50 point Grand Floridian DVC add on is sounding really nice. I gotta work on my wife :D

From the amazing staff in the roaring Fork quick service.; her name is Carolina, she displayed exceptional guest service to the highest level. She assisted my mom and I make coffee choices as well as she told me I had a cute hat. I mentioned she could find the hat in animal kingdom. We also dined at Roaring Fork last night and I had a great Mediterranean salad with chicken. After eating at roaring Fork, we went out to gyser point for some late refreshments and snacks, which I will be doing a separate review for those. The cast members to mention are Josh the chef, Anna the server from geyser point, and Josh the bartender from Geyser Point. The hotel grounds around the property are serene and have a calming quality. 10/10 Definitely recommend this stay cation

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for 5 nights and were overall very pleased! Check in was a bit…read moreshaky but nothing afternoon ruining by any means. The pool was great, very well staffed, though one of the hot tubs was not working throughout our trip which was a bummer. The quick service option was great, had plenty of options. The building itself was beautiful, especially the lobby. Transportation to all 4 of the parks was quick and easy, I never felt like I had to walk excessively far to our resorts bus stops. Although the resort itself was large, the bus stop seemed very central and we never had to wait for an elevator. Nor did we have to wait to get a table/pool chair. My main complaint with the resort was the noise level - they pipe in very loud music every night around 9 p.m. for about 10 minutes, which was awful if you're a light sleeper and wanting to get up early the next day. You can also hear the Magic Kingdom fireworks every night from the resort, but that's to be expected if you're staying in a MK area resort and I didn't find it to be disruptive. Overall, I could definitely see myself coming back to the Wilderness Lodge, the resort was incredible besides the music every night (which is really very minor considering it only went on for about 10 minutes a day). It's a great option if you're planning to spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom.

We were close to the pool/laundry building and it did get noisy. There is maintenance taking place along the waterway, and the smell of old, wet sand and stagnant water was overpowering. When the work is finished, I imagine that will go away. We had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room. We appreciated the extra pillow and blanket. We did note that the room phone cord was ripped out of the wall, one of the GFI outlets next to the double sink was broken, and the exhaust fan in the shower area was not functioning. We did make guest services aware. We had to call for the luggage to be delivered and didn't have any issues using our mobiles and calling the hotel directly. (It is the push of a button from the room phone.) We enjoyed the larger pool area and waterslide. While there were far more people there than in the pool close to the room, it was enjoyable. We did have trouble finding a place in the shade. Many people were saving seats or taking up seats with bags to keep the bag off the ground. We had a fast bite to eat for lunch and a breakfast in the marketplace. The food is nothing to write home about and overpriced. It is Disney and we expected this. It did not take away from the experience. There were plenty of places to sit and they were spaced out well so we weren't on top of the people next to us. We enjoyed the water taxi to Disney Springs twice. Both trips were enjoyable. Captain Hunter was hysterical and made the 20 minute trip memorable. We would definitely book Riverside again. It is a beautiful resort affordable priced.

We also liked that the toilet and shower were separated by a wall and door from the sink so people could get ready while someone was using the facilities. We never used the electronic device by the phone and turned it off so it didn't glow in the dark; it seemed unnecessary. We had items delivered to the hotel twice and the expensive item was kept in a safe until we came to pick it up, while the case of water and other small items were easily retrieved by someone working in the luggage room. Everything at Riverside is kept clean, employees are generally happy to help, and we were happy with our stay overall. The gift shop had some of the same souvenirs found at the park as well as medicine and other items guests might need during their stay. The staff there was wonderful. On our first day it was raining, so since we couldn't go to the water park as planned, we went to the bar by the pool for a drink. The drinks were pre-mixed, so nothing fancy, but the bartender was friendly nice, and it was fairly quiet and peaceful. As far as location, we liked that we were close to the registration area because it was a quick walk to French Quarter for beignets every morning, and we were a quick bus ride to the parks. My only complaint is that housekeeping let us down. I went to the desk one morning to have the sheets on one bed changed (it was our day off housekeeping) because something was on the sheets. The employee made a note on our reservation. When we got back to the room at 11 p.m., the room had been serviced and the beds made, but the sheets weren't changed--which was the only thing we needed done. Unfortunately, one person had to sleep on dirty sheets with a towel between. Then, because they "cleaned" our room on an unscheduled day, they didn't clean it the last scheduled day, so we didn't have enough towels and washcloths as we assumed they would be replaced while we were at the park on our last night at Disney.

It truly felt like we walked into a penthouse of a nice hotel. The price was great too. Kitchen was spacious with granite tabletops with plenty of counter space. There was a nice sized table in the dining room area and each two of the three rooms were nicely sized. It could've been two master bedrooms. Both had their own shower and bathroom. The third room had two twin beds that can you can put together if you wanted to. The living was also a decently sized area. The place was very clean and had fresh linens throughout the place. Another nice touch was that they provided two large complimentary Voss water bottles. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. I will definitely be coming back.

They have a text service which was answered immediately, love that feature. Jessica was the sweetest! Surroundings has been completely remodeled and very modern. The lobby is cute and clean, chill vibed patio and pool was beautiful, heated but we didn't have time to go in. There's a large field with outdoor grill, ample seating and a dock overlooking the lake. I was told we could rent kayaks and bicycles for free too! There was a game area which was a fun treat. We enjoyed a Disney movie in the lobby w popcorn. There were other activities (scavenger hunt, yoga etc) we just weren't there to participate. The room was new from clean paint, hard floors, new light and bathroom fixtures, new mattresses that were very comfortable and rope lighting throughout. There are down comforters and down pillows, like 6 per bed! Plenty of towels, toilet paper and toiletries available. Loved that the room had plenty of plug points, 4 around the bathroom sink alone. The shower is a new modern glass walk-in so no door. I'd prefer a full closure as it did get pretty wet outside the shower. For the price, worth the money!

They had a lot of amenities that were unusual; like a weekend movie in the lobby, fishing lessons off a dock on the property, a ping pong table, a foosball table, and kayaks. They had an excellent free breakfast. The staff was very nice and professional.
