Recently our daughter, Allie, was joyfully engaged and the time had arrived for wedding planning. We agreed that the guidance of a Wedding Planner was definite, yet had no idea where to start. Not having sources that had used an independent wedding planner, we perused internet reviews and one name floated to the top over and over. Her reviews were stellar and her pictures exciting. Together we agreed to reached out the CHRISTINA LOGAN EVENTS and set up a meeting with Christina Logan. Aware that planning a wedding was complex - complicated by Allie's work schedule and with me living out of state - it was critical to find the right person to tackle our lives while pulling together the dream wedding. The evening flowed flawlessly as she guided Allie and Alex with calming ease and complete support .... Always with her lovely smile. At night's end, not missing a step, she had the getaway car packed and awaiting the new Mr. & Mrs., sparklers passed out, arms open sending Allie and Alex off with hugs. It was beautifully moving for me, Mother of the Bride. Christina was a highly treasured part of Allie's wedding journey. She also became a cherished friend, whom I miss speaking with weekly. The bride mixer i went to was awesome, we got to meet some great vendors. It's also a free event. I had a great time, and meet some vendors that I didn't even think of looking for. This place is great if you are just starting out your planning process. Plus the space is so cute!

How do you buy a $4300 wedding dress and end up spending another $3650 so she can wear it on her…read morewedding day? This is how. Beware!! The shop owner is a great sales person but then..... We purchased my daughter's wedding dress in February for a June 8 wedding. Because of out tight time line we had difficulty finding a dress that could be made and here in time for fittings ( or so we were told ) We selected a sample that was in the store from Lela Rose with full assurance that the alterations that would need to be made in order for the dress to fit properly and provide the coverage the bride wanted could be achieved. We endured 4 fittings, all resulting in failed attempts to do what had been promised could be achieved by Karen, the owner of the shop. The attempts to create modesty were simply to make the front of the dress tighter and tighter, which because of the design created enormous pressure on the vetebrae at the top of her neck. There was now way she could wear this dress for an entire day. The dress was now filthy from being handled so much and A WEEK BEFORE her wedding we had not resolved the issue. The seamstress sent a text during that week, which we accidentally received, saying she was f*#$@ing sick of working on the dress. What ???? This is a woman's wedding gown, selected for one of the most memorable days of her life. The owners response was that was between us and her. She was a subcontractor from her shop, so I believe that says it all about customer service. At this point we are frantic. I ended up having to fly my daughter to her destination ( our home town on the Florida coast ) with her dress 8 days before her wedding to have someone here, who had the ability, completely remake the top of the dress. The shop did not pay for additional fabric which I found shocking seeing that all this fell on them. Nor did they refund any of the botched alterations fees. So, how do you spend $3650 to have a dress suitable to wear? Failed alterations at the bridal shop. $975, Plane ticket to have dress fixed $800, Additional fabric $575, remake top of dress $1300. My advice. Go somewhere else, go anywhere else, avoid this shop!!!!! Any business will always be welcoming and treat you like they value you as long as they are on the receiving end. A GOOD business is one that will solve the problems that arise when there are problems.

My friend's wedding was held here recently, and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever…read moreattended. It was the perfect rustic, barn style wedding. The Loveless Barn is a very intimate space, and I believe my friends had about 300 guests, but it didn't feel at all crowded. The only con I could think of is during the cocktail hour, it felt slightly awkward as they tried to cram all of the guests on one side of the outdoor area so the staff could set the space up for dinner. Outside of this, I found the wedding to be very well organized, and super well executed. The transition from the wedding ceremony to the set up for dinner was seamless. It was a lovely space, and the Loveless Cafe also catered for the wedding, which was a huge perk because their food is absolutely amazing.

We went to a fundraising event here recently…read more The event itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by the clueless staff of this facility. It was a December evening, that started out fine. The food was OK and about halfway through the evening as the staff begin clearing the tables they opened all the back doors to the venue And left them open for the rest of the evening. The evening was 32°. Needless to say the draft from the open doors quickly filled the room and nobody picked up on the fact that everybody was running for their coats and sat there huddled freezing, trying to enjoy the evening while the event/facility staff walked about with the doors wide open. this is not the first time we've been to an event here, but will always think twice before attending another one.
