The food was cold the eggs were undercoooked the service was late and poor. order was made wrong. coffee was poor. do not recommend

A Cake You Crave (previously known as Joan's Cake Creations) is one of the few places down South…read morewhere you can grab specialty baking supplies. If you're after last minute lollipop sticks (hello spur of the moment cake pops) check them out. Prices aren't cheap for most of these products, but that's more down to the fact that they're imported rather than something particular with this store. You can also pick up sugar flowers and other creations, and if you're not interested in baking your own things there are cakes for sale or order.

So, unfortunately I cannot comment on the taste of their cup cakes. However, the cakes that were on display were amazing works of art. If ever someone should be called a cake artist it is certainly the person who decorated these. There was an amazingly detailed scene of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party made entirely out of icing sugar which drew us in to look at all the other amazingly decorated cakes. Somehow, I don't think you would be disappointed if you ordered a cake from here. I noticed, in the window that they are now serving traditional high tea and they also make their own fudge and peanut brittle. There is a side area with seating to eat in and it does have a tea shop type of feel with wooden floorboards and white walls.
