Some stuff wasn't working functionally (specifically some scanning puzzles) but still a good time and we got out. The second room we did was Who Stole the Mona Lisa which was more difficult. No locks and almost all puzzles/riddles. Very difficult and had to max out our clues but we also got out. We had a weird glitch happen mid-game but our game master Avery was really helpful in setting us back up to restart. Pretty busy area in Fairfax Corner but there is plenty of parking within a block of the building. If you love escape rooms, this place has multiple rooms for everyone.

Butttt, it wasn't at all easy for us lol. I wish I could say that we got out the room with NO or minimal clues lol but we were often very clueless lol prompting the need for more and more clues. With ALL of the workers help via the clues and fixing the tv screen, we managed to get out of the room in time. Overall, this was a good experience. The Code- Cyber Heist was definitely mentally challenging, causing us to ponder plans to solutions for a lengthy amount of time.

These type presentations should be tailored to the specific customer needs and business. When I booked the event, someone should have asked me then what kind of business my company did. A little time before hand finding out the customer and adding a few things into that presentation would have made it more relevant because in many areas it was informative and fun. More interaction, ice breakers keeps an audience engaged. Proof slides, grammar and spell checking should always be done. So many misspellings in the slides makes it appear less professional. As a four-person group, we decided to take on Poe's Chambers. The theming of this room is immaculate! Just the door to the room evokes the early 19 hundreds. Poe's Chambers really makes you feel like you're in the creative poet's home. I loved the overall feel! My fiancé and I were able to get the group through some of the puzzles, just due to our vast experience with rooms. I believe even our first-timer friends were able to see how we were making the connections and able to get their brains going too! I felt like we all really handled the room well and that it was friendly to them. There is one puzzle in particular I think E.R.A. needs to update. If it doesn't sit just so, it's easy to miss the clue. Though, everything else in the room worked flawlessly. Our game master was very attentive when we asked for two clues, though it took us a bit to decode her hints. We got out with 7 minutes to spare. I can see why this room would be an 8/10 difficulty. It's a fairly linear room, which I prefer when it comes to games. I've done rooms that feel scattered and those frustrate me to no end, lol.
