The owner took the lamp in back to look at and repair, in less than 5 minutes he brought it back ready-to-go; however, he charged her $25 plus tax. When she questioned him if why such a basic job cost so much he had no answer. He never gave her a quote, he just fixed it and charged an inflated rate. Most reputable repair stores would have tightened it for free, or charged a small service fee. There are plenty of family-run reputable electrical repair shops in the area, go anywhere but here! I called ITech and spoke to Tony. His calm demeanor and reassurance on the phone was comforting. Tony plus two others arrived around 4PM and by 7PM everything was replaced and back to normal. The entire time there, Tony kept me informed every step of the way as well as making minor corrections to my circuit panel. I really appreciated how professional and clean all three of them were . Our staffer was extremely professional with his help and suggestions. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. I even heard him recommend a competitor to another customer because they could not accommodate their request. The store is going through a renovation but is still open. It's nice to actually speak with salespeople who know their products and want to help their customers. They will match any internet pricing, too. I would definitely come here rather than the big box stores for your lighting fixture and ceiling fan needs.
