There is a unique "village" feel to the Selden which always makes it a nice place to go to, whether it's for a quick pint, a whole evening or for food. It's not a restaurant, but it's fine, honest food, at a good price, served well in nice surroundings. I made a huge mistake though, they have the end of a caravan at the end of the bar, I thought it was a seating area, turned out to be the kitchen. Needless to say, I got a bit of a - Eh what are you doing mate kind of look. Anyway, it's got a really cool vibe, if you also like Ale they have lots to choose from. If your looking for live music they have something on a couple of nights a week but either way its a cool, relaxing place to have a bev, and really near to train and bus routes so a great meeting spot.
